Hello lovelies.

Some of you are cooking some amazing meals. It would be great to see pictures for inspiration.

I've started with a picture of my pork steaks cooked in butter, chilli, garlic and ginger served with cabbage.

These are really fab, honestly. Just checked out your blog for the pan fried duck recipe. And I was wondering what oefs en cocotte looked like after seeing people posting about them. (Now I know - and am trying those too! Grin)

They frown apon self-promoting ;)

BlackAffronted · 27/01/2013 18:59

Bit blurry, but its loaded chicken. Just add pizza toppings to thin chicken breasts.

BlackAffronted · 27/01/2013 19:01

Meatzza

Doshusallie · 27/01/2013 19:04

Am now motivated to make those cheese crisps have always thought they sounded a bit meh before.

BlackAffronted · 27/01/2013 19:05

Chicken with a shallot & mushroom sauce

BlackAffronted · 27/01/2013 19:06

Dosh, I didnt do the grated cheese version, I used those pre-cut squares of edam cheese, and sprinkled with garlic & chives.

NoveltySlippers · 27/01/2013 19:06

Just went back to my Ocado order AGAIN and added five more items. This could get expensive! Grin

However, 'tis one of my New Year's resolutions to become a better cook, so it's all in the name of self-improvement my greedy guts

Marking place

catinboots · 27/01/2013 19:48

Oh my god! Black you are amazing...

I will be using some of those in my meal planning! I'm going to try the Edam crisps tonight - I have a 2 1/2 hr drive to Milton Keynes and back tomorrow for work so will be needing nibbles....

How did you do the base for the Meatzza??

OP posts:
catinboots · 27/01/2013 19:50

Courgetti Carbonara

The corgette is more like tagliatelli as my peeler cuts quite thick slices. It was lush. Am stuffed now....

Looks lovely cat.

Sorry to be such a broken record, but this really is so inspiring. It's kind of hard to visualise people's meals when they just list them. This brings them to life! Will post some of mine when I'm on the PC.

BlackAffronted · 27/01/2013 20:37

The meatzza base is beef mince, herbs, spices, parmesan. Quite yummy, but I grefer the chicken with pizza topping.

Cat, that courgetti looks fab!

BlackAffronted · 27/01/2013 20:38
