Hello lovelies!

Hope the title meets with everyone's approval.

I have just one thing to say at the moment, a propos of the John Finnemore thing in the last thread: 'pub kitten'? 'pub kitten'?!!? Just how cute does that sound?

And as for the part of his palm just at the base of his thumb - Mount of Venus is it? - I want to bite it.

Let someone else get things read for the party and chill out in The Chair. I'm at the hairdressers on Saturday too, but only for a cut. I love going as I get time to myself and it's fun to imagine BC washing my hair!

Prey -- you're very bite-oriented, aren't you? ;) Calves, lips, hands...Poor boy would present quite a challenge to the make-up artist after you got finished with him!

I would chill in The Chair, but stylist (who is good at cutting but rubbish at colour) now makes me nervous. Will be switching soon.

Sunday is the big day. Have catering lined up, but need to plan for day-after breakfast as well as flaming beverages for the party (mulled red wine with a sugar cone suspended above, soaked in high-proof rum and set alight -- it's a German drink called Feuerzangenbowle and knocks me off my duff but is awesome, if only for the 3-foot-flames generated when DH pours extra rum on the sugar bits). Beer/wine/cola also needs to be bought as well as stuff for a cheese platter (which will be interesting b/c I don't eat the stuff). Another BC-groupie will be in attendance; we might have to sneak off to ogle some links. She's decidedly anti-SciFi, but I think she might make an exception this time...That fringe! All sweaty and...and...and...oh dear, there I go again, thinking what other things he might be doing (that require significantly less clothing) that would get him all sweaty....[sigh]

I appear to have offended the Star Trek fans . I posted the trailer in chat and have been berated as "it's not a Cumberbatch film FFS"

Frankel, I think you've been remarkably restrained on your chat thread. And that comment by someone that BC will henceforth only be cast as Brit villains in crappy films.... Clearly hasn't seen him in anything else. Ridiculous. I seriously can't cope with waiting until May though .

At least we have his turn as the Necromancer in The Hobbit to look forward to and then Cabin Pressure in January/February. Spring/Summer will be a real Cumberfest - Star Trek and possibly Osage County and Sherlock.

Did you hear that they had 17,000 applications for the 600 Cabin Pressure tickets?

Frankel, it's not a Cumberbatch film? Well, it's not a solo work, but nothing else he's done is either. But he is the counterpart to Kirk, and is what will make ST:ID soooo great. Haters need to go get stuffed.

2013 is going to be a very good year, indeed!

Came back from the stylist slightly less red. But something was still off. I just looked at myself and realized that I now look like....SHERLOCK! Just a 1.54 m, female version of Sherlock. Yes, my hair is curly. (And I'm even wearing a purple sweater, just definitely not from Dolce & Gabbana.)

Off to finally watch TTSS with DH. SQUEEEEEE!

Had to do a fake stretch whilst sitting next to DH so I could move my laptop to angle the screen away before I clicked on that link. Totally worth it!
