Oh dear! I am a bit scared about being first. Didn't know whether to put Saturday or Sunday as the finish date but you know what I mean. :)

Here's a little video of our summer.

It's a Silent Sunday for me.

Imagine how you'd feel if your baby was abducted from the childminder's garden. That's the subject of Vivien Hampshire's novel 'Losing Lucy'.

Vivien kindly agreed to a Q & A session about publishing the novel.

Paint, plus hand prints, plus googley eyes, equally spidery fun... What more could a three year old want...

This is another one of my "trading" posts where I offer up one of my lists - in this case top tips for party games for 2 year olds - in exchange for the list I really need right now which is a list of party ideas that will keep a bunch of 2 to 5 year olds entertained whilst their parents get on with the important stuff join in very enthusiastically Wink

Thank-you, that's really nice of you to say, at least I hope it was directed at me? I do keep inadvertently speaking to strangers so I'm never sure any more?

Mark.

The Yacoubian Building by Alaa Al Aswany, translated by Humphrey Davies - my first foray into Arabic literature should have got more of my undivided attention, really.

RecipeJunkie · 10/09/2012 19:32

Not sure where I am with my posts on here, but if you want something delish and easy to feed your kids you could do worse than cauliflower & pea pesto pasta. My cauliflower hating son didn't even know he was eating his nemesis. So that has to be good - right? (p.s. there is bacon too)

Our little girl has just achieved the significant milestone of being able to whinge.

Does it effect you like it does me?
