Come along and meet children's author Lorraine Hellier. Her books are similar to The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

New INKYMUM comic post...Why Mums Can't Have Fever

...part one of three. Yup, things get worse ;)

By the way, there doesn't seem to be much interest in comics about Mums, among Mums. All the feedback I'm getting are from webcomic enthusiasts, journalists and such. Hmm

Love it, doubleshotlatte!

borninastorm · 26/08/2012 19:43

Two posts from me today:

I'm experiencing empty next syndrome way too soon for a mum of a toddler cos it's oh so quiet here this weekend.

borninastorm · 26/08/2012 19:45

And the second one is about Teenboy leaving for his university adventure soon, far too soon because he's still my baby

Hi! I have written about the primary school admissions process whereby I collected questions from local mums and arranged for our local council to kindly answer these questions and give advice to parents applying for primary school places for their children for 2013.

Hope you find it useful :)

Check out the spectacular views from climbing The Cobbler in Scotland. See my new article 'How To Keep The Pounds Off On Holiday: Climb A Mountain?'

Went to carnival yesterday and saw it through different eyes - wonderful, vibrant and proud to have such a fantastic city as London.

Hi all,

I've decided to give myself a fathers performance review

What would yours look like?

Have just signed up for my very first marathon - in Rome! - but is this going to help me lose weight? www.howilostweight.co.uk

My daughter starts school in a week - I've been pondering obedience and children being "good" and come to the conclusion that maybe being good isn't the desirable trait that it is made out to be! hertfordshiremummy.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/being-good-or-doing-good.html

I don't suppose anybody else finds themselves compelled to give silly answers to perfectly sensible questions from their children?
Worm sausages and tomato snail ketchup

Hello all. Brilliant reading list on here, as ever. While I'm off to read all of yours, here's my latest, on Finding Elsewhere

valiumpoptarts · 28/08/2012 13:53

I've written about the council property that a fellow blogger has been given and am asking other bloggers to help raise awareness if they can. If you think that if you had a toddler and PND you would struggle if you were given a 'new' home that contained animal faeces do come and help

PetiteRaleuse · 28/08/2012 16:14

Have you ever had second thoughts and removed a blog post after publishing?

FlamingoBingo · 28/08/2012 17:22

Hello all. Sorry not been around for months and months. Long story. However, am back raring to go, but going to be polite and not start posting links to new posts here just yet Grin

Just wanted to say hello and have a look at everyone else's posts Smile

Oh yes, will just say that my blog has had a revamp and name-change and now goes by the name of The Awakened Parent - just so you don't get confused Grin

FlamingoBingo · 28/08/2012 17:23

and petite, yes I have and stand by removing it. Sometimes we post and don't think through the full implications of what we right, and it's acceptable, once those things have been pointed out to us, to apologise and remove or rewrite the post IMO.
