The fact that I appear to be the first in this thread suggests I've stayed up far too late writing this post - hope you think it was worth it!

New Beginnings and Old Friends in Ancient Cities

Inspired by a trip to the beautiful city of Bath's fab Roman Baths (great for a family outing!)

Can't work out why my link didn't work but here's hoping it'll be third time lucky.
Cyber bullying derailed me for a day or two but after years of bullying at the hands of HBOS, I am well practised in bouncing back.

A post about the role of being a stay at home dad ... apparently it's supposed to include housework?

Supporting those affected by the cancellation of the Great Yorkshire Show - the rain isn't helping anyone this summer

thecrumbymummy I will do a guest post for you if you like - sounds like the theme would fit in well with my book which is called Toddlers: An Instruction Manual

This week I have been blogging about child bloggers. It seems to me that there's a real groundswell of interest in this from kids, combined with a lot of nervousness from parents. But given that we're in for a wet summer, it's not the worst indoor activity your child could do.

So on my blog with my daughter we have compiled a list of Top 10 Cool Kid Bloggers to give inspiration to children who want to blog and then over on my own blog I have a post for parents whose child wants to start a blog. Hope you find this useful!

All about why the naughty step is not working in our house and how I'm not too keen on those who term themselves Super Nannies.

we have had some lovely and healthy pork burgers this week, thanks to Blue's homework; also some very fine gooseberry and orange drizzle cake. Off to make beetroot chutney now. Wish me luck!

Hi all, had writer's block for a very long time but was finally able to complete something. It is about ageing. Enjoy. As I Am Today.

MattBaines · 11/07/2012 22:01

It's Wednesday and this is my first post of the week. But at least I have a holiday without internet rather than laziness to blame.

I can't be the only one who shouts at my daughter far more than I praise her can I? Well D-O-N-E all we be clear when you read the post!

I aso neglected to mention Friday's post on here last Friday so I am going to be cheeky and give it a quick bump now. I like you take a look and gasp in horror at the misbehaviour.

Hello,
I have written about Leukemia and my new forest Wedding

yummymummyreally · 11/07/2012 22:25

It's been a busy, stressful, grumpy week in our household this week.

The two girls, now 6 and 3, are exhausted and definitely in need of the summer break. I need a duvet day just to catch up, which is why I am, of course, ignoring the remaining ironing and instead blogging about the lovely award that Recipe Junkie passed my way. Many thanks. It, and another something that you'll read about within the week, has cheered me up in this week of grumps. Smile

The versatile blogger? Who me?

YoungDebbie · 11/07/2012 23:36

How I came to live where I do now:

The Secret World of Hawkesbury Upton

(Not the most methodical method, I must admit!)

How did you choose where to live?
