A wonderful slow-motion train-wreck. I loved every minute of it. (And thank god for the internet, as I was able to watch "live" with you over in the UK. DH was out running, so I could salivate in peace.) Marveled at Valentine's naiveté about how babies are made (or not...R.E.S.P.E.C.T...). She and Christopher were so cute at the fire. Got all hot-and-bothered during the trailer when he more or less commanded Valentine to be his lover. (Go girl, you know you want to!!)

Goddammit, am I really going to be reading THREE books silmutaneously? I have the new Jasper Fforde on my phone, the latest Stephen King on the bedstand, and am now hunting around for a copy of this. When the hell am I going to read it all???

I'm sure all this is bollocks. Famous and/or pretty people get invited to things all the time. Anyone who is currently 'hot' and known or suspected to be single will almost inevitably be 'paired off' with someone the journalist thinks looks good with them and/or will create news.
