Annie, you can add a gadhet to your blog so people just have to click a button to follow you, there is one on my blog? It shows who else is following me.

I'm umming and ahhing over starting one.
The problems are

1. My camera is terrible, so my food doesn't look great, everything comes out so dark.
2. My home isn't very nice, I don't have anywhere good to take photos, even if I had a decent camera (and a friend has offered me a loan of hers)

I live in temporary accommodation, so I could wait till I move, but I've no idea when that will be, and I want one now!

But, I don't want people to think I'm a crap cook based on terrible photos/unattractive location and then not bother to read it.

I am just a family cook, albeit quite adventurous at times, but I want what I make to look good, and inspire people to try it, and they aren't going to when it looks like someone shat on a plate in a bedsit.

Netto, just get yourself a plain tablecloth, and just cover up & take your photos :) You are far more adventurous than me, Id love to follow your blog!

The problem with that is, my table is currently at the end of my bed covered in clothes.
Nowhere else for it to go, and the light in my room is terrible.
The best I can get, is my kitchen bench, or the bookshelf in my living room, but still everything looks so dark.
Admittedly, I don't bother to present anything, as it's just going on FB.
I think I need to borrow the camera, and I can maybe stage something that looks half decent if I can take a good photo.

Netto, go for it! Just play around with settings/flash on camera, I'm sure you'll find a way.

I've been going through my photos, and some aren't too bad, plus I have tried some interesting dishes recently which I'd love to share.
Now I just need to know where to start!

I'd like to do one on yours first, just not sure what to blog.
I'm doing a Japanese meal on Friday, but part of it is katsu, which you've already blogged, obviously since you gave me the recipe!
Also got a whole stuffed trout recipe to try which might look good?
I want it to fit in with family food, which your blog is, but a little bit interesting. I thought the trout might fit the bill, so long as it's not a disaster of course.

A food blog is what I want more than anything, well that and a pink range cooker and a kiwi Le Creuset casserole

We love fish, and DD adores when it looks like fish.
I'll keep that in mind to do a guest blog then. I've chosen a recipe, just need sides to go with it.
