Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

Nowhere near me is showing Frankenstein.

Ooh a fourth series! There were some quite nice pics on that link too - thanks exexpat. I rather liked the name of one of the people who had added a comment below it, too - acciobenedictcumberbatch. The thought of being able to wave a wand and say a magic word to summon bc immediately into one's presence certainly has appeal...

mostlymay · 21/03/2012 14:55

Fabulous a fourth series! Let's hope our boy doesn't get eaten up by Hollywood Sad I have tickets for both versions Grin and there are loads left for both but I think it's because it's not proper culchaaraaal like round where I am!! Grin

CaveMum · 21/03/2012 18:27

Don't think DH wants to come and see Frankenstein with me. I also found out that MIL (who is retired and a proper culture culture type) went to see it at the National Theatre Envy. BC was playing Frankenstein too Envy Envy Envy

LetUsPrey · 21/03/2012 20:34

CaveMum - am very Envy of your MIL. S'not fair.

Incidentally, did you happen to see my dream report? Just wondered.

OP posts:
sloppygirl · 21/03/2012 22:11

OK. This has to be the SADDEST story of BC obsession ever !! I had a hospital appointment today, and recalled that it was in the vacinity of where the photos were taken of BC getting a parking ticket, and leaving Carluccio's. I just had to have a coffee in Carluccio's and thought, ' Oh my goodness. HE may have drunk out of this cup !' I then had to cross over the road on the same crossing as in the photos! By the time I got to the hospital, I was not sure whether to go for my test , or straight to the mental health department ! So SAD it's untrue!

CaveMum · 21/03/2012 22:19

[laughs] @ sloppy

Prey I did see your little dream confession. Go find your own crush and stop nicking other people's! (I may have had very very bad thoughts about what sort of escapades might occur when pressed up against a Tardis console Wink Blush)
Did you hear him on the Chris Moyles Show this morning? I listened to it when I got home as he was on from just after 9 till the end of the show [sighs]

Yes, MIL was extremely inconsiderate for not telling me she was going to Frankenstein until months after she'd been Angry. She also commented on how "odd looking" BC is Shock [resists temptation to slap MIL for such shameful talk].

LetUsPrey · 21/03/2012 22:28

Oh sloppygirl. Tut tut tut. I would totally have done the same thing

CaveMum - heard the interview on the way to work. He does sound lovely. And he is a very good kisser Wink. So, tonight Matt Smith?

sloppygirl · 21/03/2012 22:39

Thank you for the support, LetUsPrey, and Cavemum ! At least I feel I am not going totally bonkers !! ( YET ).-

holmessweetholmes · 21/03/2012 22:46

Not bonkers at all, sloppygirl! Dh was out unexpectedly this evening, so A Study in Pink for me. Riding crop, anyone?

CaveMum · 21/03/2012 22:57

I've only ever had one Matt Smith dream. 'twas very good Wink

Ive overdone it on the Cabin Pressure so I'm off to bed to listen to Casanova. He just sounds like utter filth reading the diary, fingers crossed it inspires my dreams Wink

Thanks Holmssweetholmes !! raaraathenoisyleo, I thought he was still in US? He wasn't in Carluccio's, but I did spend a lot of time looking around just in case ! I'm off to bed. ( I like tihe idea of falling asleep listening to Casanova. Wiill look into that. ) Still awaiting my sodding 'Sherlock' DVD from Daily Mail. Sent off 4th February!! ARRGH !! They say it is on the way. Sweet dreams ( Of BC ) all.

CaveMum · 22/03/2012 07:18

raaraa are you sure? I was under the impression he's still in LA filming Star Trek. Quite prepared to believe otherwise though!

Fair enough!

Someone fancy tweeting Cumberbatchweb? Ivgetcthe impression they talk to BC's agency fairly regularly.

LetUsPrey · 22/03/2012 08:18

I just watched Ottery St Sherlock on YouTube. Very very funny!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 22/03/2012 09:11

Merlin? Really? I don't mean to cast aspersions on your source, raaraa, but if it's true they've done a top-notch job of keeping it out of the media ... I can't find any mention of it, although there is lots of online chat from the past about how good it would be if Benedict DID guest-star.

In other news, I've booked for both versions of Frankenstein Blush even though I saw the play four times Blush Blush and both versions of it at NT Encore first time round. Blush Blush

I'm going to the weekday-afternoon showings, not evening ones, so I don't need to come up with an excuse as to where I'm going (I generally work at home on weekdays and am the only one in, so no one will miss me). Feel like a dirty old man sneaking out to watch porn in a seedy fleapit and fiddle under his mac. Grin

LetUsPrey · 22/03/2012 13:12

Why would a dirty old man take a fiddle under his coat to see a porn film? Is it for musical accompaniment?

[innocent emoticon]

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 22/03/2012 13:18

Yes, exactly that, Prey.

Grin
LadyClariceCannockMonty · 22/03/2012 13:24

PS why is Starter for Ten not on iPlayer? Wasn't it only on a few days ago? Didn't record it but am ill in bed today and just felt like it, BUT the feckers don't seem to have made it available.

LetUsPrey · 22/03/2012 13:35

No idea LadyClarice. Bit mean of them. Sad for you at being poorly.

OP posts:
exexpat · 22/03/2012 14:44

LadyClarice - as far as I know, proper films (ie cinema-released type films) never go on iPlayer or any of the other catch-up services. Think it's to do with broadcasting/distribution rights or something. But it is only £3.97 on Amazon or it's on LoveFilm (not streaming, though).

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 22/03/2012 15:55

Makes sense I s'pose . Thanks for the Amazon tip, exexpat.

Actually, just looked at iPlayer and there are some 'proper' films on it. Maybe distribution rights vary and so the films the Beeb are allowed to reshow varies.

Prey, thanks. S'OK though; not horribly ill, was happy not to have to go to work today and am actually hoping to be able to string it out to cover tomorrow as well as I know it's set to be an irritating/frustrating/chaotic day due to certain activities and idiotic colleagues. Grin
