don't know if any of you seen any of the entries into the bloggers tips listography? but if you didn't, one simple and really useful tip was, get rid of the word verification thingy on your blog. it often puts people off commenting and really how much spam are you going to be getting? just thought it was a good wee tip to share

Dilly those butterflies are just gorgeous! Want them! Definitely good craft fair material I reckon [adds butterflies to ever increasing list of fantasy craft projects]

Oh interesting QueenMaeve I was pondering whether to turn of comment screening yesterday. Will do that. But probably tomorrow as Wordpress seems to be bonkers tonight (I host my business site there as well and need to renew a few extra features but it's not working grrrrrr).

louhut. Party bags are crazy! A friend of ours did indeed put books in hers. And I must admit to having done that in the past (but only because I got 10 ladybird books for £2 in a local store sale.. ssshh!) It worked out cheaper than plastic toys!

lowimpactmama Like the resolutions. Pity about the linky stuff - is wordpress tricky for that? In blogger I can switch between the compose screen and the html screen, and although I don't understand the code shown there, I just added the bloghop code at the end and crossed my fingers!

Also - congrats on both the cushion (pretty!), and the new expected baby!
