Well, it's about time.

Now all we need are furnishings and decorations...Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 00:04

Even so, I think I'd better go and try, now.

Dear Gizzy, the light of my life, guaranteed to put a smile on my face, on a rainy day Grin

Sweet dReAms, everyone.

DumSpiroSpero · 27/11/2011 00:06

Bitey Knight Massive!

If you ignore the distractions the bottom of this one isn't bad either.

Wow Sargent JP & his merry men are solving the strike personnel absences

as for this young lady I reckon we all know the real reason she's emigrated!! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 27/11/2011 09:49

ROFL at the real reson she's moved to NZ!

Really nice story though. Smile

Good decision, Twigs. I hope you have throughly enjoyed the luxury - and a goodly number of uninterrupted wees

ROFL at the re-location to NZ. Another wise move.Grin

Oh, LadyD, that was a bottom and a half, all right. I love the way one arm goes round her waist, in that scene, no disrespectful grabbing of boobs and bottom like so many blokes feel the need to indulge in.

And then he just enfolds her, so gently and tenderly, yet so eagerly..

The poor lamb. Sad

Wink
PassTheTwiglets · 27/11/2011 12:42

had a glass of Prosecco in bed, whilst reading my Christmas Cookery porn :o

LadyDamerel · 27/11/2011 12:47

::ignores Twigs while muttering under breath::

4am. That's what time MasterD2 woke me up and we have been paying the price for it ever since.

LadyDamerel · 27/11/2011 12:49

Oh and Massive, I completely agree. I also love the absolute shock in his body language when she kisses him - his whole demeanour just screams disbelief for the first couple of seconds.

::melts::

DumSpiroSpero · 27/11/2011 13:00

Commiserations Lady D - makes my 7am seem fairly tame (although it didn't feel like it at the time). Glad you're enjoying your weekend Twigs.

Have just been doing some research for another JP story I'm writing (if you've seen the Tweet I have taken it down temporarily but will be back up later - you'll probably see why...), and had to laugh at these quotes in the Wikipedia article about Strikeback:

Shelley Conn (Danni) "thought the concept of the scripts was very clever and once I heard who was involved it didn't take me long to sign up." Grin

And one female reviewer who described it as "aimed squarely at the blokey viewer who'd rather watch paint dry than a costume drama." Hmm

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 27/11/2011 13:26

That'll be the female reviewer who needs to make an urgent appointment at SpecSavers, Spiro.

I didn't actually get out of bed at 4 but MasterD2 didn't go back to sleep and was such a fidget that I couldn't either, grrr.

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 13:27

I was just thinking, LadyD, what amazing acting it is, all those subtle nuances that get us so involved in the chaRAacter and the story, as if Gizzy was completely real.

That's excellent news about the new story, Spiro. Hooray! Grin

And another good choice there with the Prosecco, Twigs, though I personally might have been inclined to ditch the Christmas Cookery Porn for a different kind of reading matter entirely.

LadyDamerel · 27/11/2011 14:25

What do you mean as if Gizzy was completely real? He is real, isn't he?

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 14:26

Oh Grin

And a welcome change of pace, because I need to take my mind off all the sad Gizzy vids.

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 14:28

Blush Blush Blush

It is totally ridiculous how real he is to me, LadyD.

PassTheTwiglets · 27/11/2011 14:51

Massive, I haven't read anything in ages - it's just not working atm :(

LadyD, commiserations at your 4am waking! TwigBoy was always a 5-5.30am-er, which is why my mum didn't feel able to have both the kids together, but the last few weeks he has been 6-7 so she agreed - and he was apparently up at 5am Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 14:55

It must have been the happiness and excitement at staying with his grandma, tell her, Twigs.

And don't worry, it's a rare ocurrence for her,and it gave you a break.

PassTheTwiglets · 27/11/2011 15:11

My concern at his early waking was not so much that she would suffer from it, more that she is less likely to volunteer again in the future :)

Hee hee, he does know how to work it though... last week he found a heart-shaped egg-cooking thing I have in the cupboard and he took it to her and pointed first to himelf, then to the heart and then to her - the little suck-up :o

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 15:18

I thought you might be able to sell it as a one-off though Twigs. ROFL @ the cookie-cutter thingie

PassTheTwiglets · 27/11/2011 15:19

Yes, that's true, Massive - definitely a one-off, let's go with that!

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 15:37

Happy to oblige, Maud!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/11/2011 15:55

::Comes round::

That was really something, Massisve.

::Wibbles at the memory::

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 16:07

Another candidate for Specsavers. Only number four??!!

All the others are so ordinary.
