Well, it's about time.

Now all we need are furnishings and decorations...Wink

2-4 weeks Shock. It will be worth the wait though. S2 is my absolute favourite, Gizzy is at his most wibblesome in it, imo.

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 21:17

I lurrve him in S3, though. he is so heroically tragic and rather deliciously dirrty as opposed to the glory and arrogance and smoldering of S2. Although all that last can't be bad, can it?

LadyDamerel · 23/11/2011 21:20

He's the policeman who goes to see Margaret after Frederick kills Leonards at the train station. He's also an acquaintance of MrT's, MrT being a magistrate n'all.

LadyDamerel · 23/11/2011 21:23

I must re-watch S3. The MasterDs are only up to S2 though and I'm a bit dubious about how suitable it is for MasterD2, being that bit darker than S1&2. Might have to watch it when LordD is away tomorrow...

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 21:32

I guess S3 is rather strong stuff for younger viewers. Not that the Marian kebab theme is exactly sweetness and light.

Oh Gizzy, you are your own worst enemy... But comely, withal Grin

LadyDamerel · 23/11/2011 21:43

We haven't got as far as the Marian kebab yet, I may skip that one, tbh. MasterD2 is happy to watch any of them, in any order, as long as Gizzy is there. On the walk home from school today he was talking about knocking chimneys down and I asked if he'd shoot it with his bow and arrow. In tones of absolute disgust he answered, "Mummy, I'm Guy, I have a sword." One successfully brainwashed child, methinks Grin.

Have you seen the pic of the day on RANet today? It's a goody!

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 21:46

Oh, it's Sexy Cupid! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 23/11/2011 21:46

Massive I can't believe you've not got Season 2 Shock!

Miss S is ok. Another blood test today - again purely to rule something (relatively minor) out. Bit of a performance with hauling her out of school applying anaesthetic cream etc etc, but at least she managed to stay conscious this time!

Have been busy with stroppy DH RL, but also with reading 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' which a friend at work leant me last week. Brilliant book, but once I pick it up it usually takes me a couple of hours to extricate myself again!

Gert lush isn't he, Massive?

Spiro, I read that in about 2 sittings when it first came out. I seem to remember that the first half was much better than the second.

LadyDamerel · 23/11/2011 21:52

Sorry, got a bit click-happy on the post button before I'd finished.

Glad MissS was okay for her blood tests today - have I missed the results of the last set?

What's MrS being doing now?

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 21:59

Spiro, I didn't get S2 originally because we had it on our telly, twice, three repeats a week, each time. not that I could watch them all of course, what with the footie and such.

But now with time elapsed, i feel a deep-seated need.

I don't think i could read that book, I get too involved and upset with storylines like that.

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 22:00

LadyD, he could carry out lady Gaga's instructions any day.

DumSpiroSpero · 23/11/2011 22:04

I could have happily done it in a couple of sittings if I didn't have early starts, Lady D.

It's very weird but it's the really 'not obvious' stuff that has had me blubbing, the nasty bits have largely washed over me, I suppose because you expect that sort of thing in books of that kind of subject matter.

Was the same with 'Birdsong' - all the descriptions of battles and life in the trenches didn't get to me at all, but there's a whole chapter of mostly cheery letters home from the characters you've 'met' in the story about 3/4 of the way through and that had me sobbing like a baby.

Anyone here like jigsaws? Grin

TransylvanianVampiress · 23/11/2011 22:10

::dashes in in floods of tears:: just watched the final part of the choir. Oh my word - how moving. ::blows nose on lady D's petticoats as Maud's not around::

Poor missS - hope it's all sorted soon. And hope mrS sorts outs his Martian sex-ness!

I want to see RH - don't mind which series just any of them! I'm not fussy!!Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 22:12

The Jigsaws are sulking and won't work for me.

DumSpiroSpero · 23/11/2011 22:12

I just saw the last 20 minutes of the The Choir last night - was brilliant.

The only thing I thought was disappointing was that imo everyone in the Albert Hall should have been on their bloody feet giving them a standing ovation.

You need to have Java, Massive - you should be able to search and download it in a couple of minutes.

OP posts:
TransylvanianVampiress · 23/11/2011 22:15

I can't play with RA in bits either!! ::sulk:: Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 22:16

I shall try that when i'm feeling a bit less bleary eyed, then, Spiro. The way i am now, i should probably mess up big-time.

A shame as there's another Sexy Cupid pic there that caught my eye.

LadyDamerel · 23/11/2011 22:25

I've just tried to do the Sexy Cupid one and it's too hard for me Blush.

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 22:30

Oh my giddy aunt, LadyD...

SupermassiveLBD · 23/11/2011 22:37

Luckily that jigsaw website seems to tell you how to download java, so I shall have a go tomorrow.

DumSpiroSpero · 23/11/2011 22:47

They are tricky - there's a really nice one but it's got over 100 pieces and I'm really struggling.

Think they may become my guilty pleasure!
