Who's first, me or Small? Grin

LadyDamerel · 10/10/2011 21:58

He's looking better here.

::melts into large puddle of goo::

SupermassiveLBD · 10/10/2011 22:01

He's looking very, very naughty indeed there, LadyD.

"Glaciers melting in the dead of night" just about covers it.

That riff is oh so something kind of ooh-ish, doncha think?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/10/2011 22:05

Yes, that is my favourite Muse track. Although it may be to do with Guy's unwashed, leather-clad, psychologically-damaged, arsonist and homicidal maniac-style stomping, I think it's more to do with those crashing guitar chords.

Russianpony · 10/10/2011 22:12

Yup he's up in my wardrobe all wrapped and tied up in a little parcel for me the colonel to unwrap!!Grin. I so can't wait to see his face!! Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/10/2011 22:18

Goodnight ladies and lurkers!

::Trudges off, executive briefcase in hand::

LadyDamerel · 10/10/2011 22:20

::waves at Maud's retreating back::

SupermassiveLBD · 10/10/2011 22:23

Bitey knighty Maudie. So nice to see you again. It was horrid being out in the wilderness.

I am Grin at the thoght of the Colonel's face when he sees what his wife keeps in her wardrobe. And he thought Narnia was pushing it.

Yoo-hoo, Panther fans! The Big Kitty is ba-ack. Smile

SupermassiveLBD · 10/10/2011 23:16

Night, all.

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 10/10/2011 23:17

Ooh, how exciting! That's my bedtime reading sorted then Grin.

LadyDamerel · 10/10/2011 23:21

I have Environmental Health coming to do my bi-annual check tomorrow so I'm blitzing the kitchen Blush, hence my conspicuous absence.

PassTheTwiglets · 11/10/2011 05:46

Morning all! Lovely 4.30am start here this morning. Need an eye/matchstick interface.

Oooooh, thanks for the tip-off about The Big Kitty, Massive! Off to read him now.

DumSpiroSpero · 11/10/2011 07:24

Welcome back Massive and good luck Lady D!

ROFL at eye/matchstick interface Twigs. DD was up at 6 and guess what? Downstairs playing on DSi while I dozed on until just after 7!

As for TTSS - WTA*?! It wasn't you, Twigs - I was clueless from the titles at the beginning. Love Kathy Burke though, and all the Seventies retro gubbins. Those Christmas party flashbacks made me Hmm about what my mum got up to back in the day when she was PA in several big offices in London! Grin

Russianpony · 11/10/2011 07:50

Assuming TTSS would be mightily improved by the addition of our own TTSS? I'll have no hope of following it then! But then I've never had much success really following James bond films! I need the goodies in White and baddies in black! (need a picture on speed dial of a delectable leather-clad, homicidal maniac to insert here!!Grin)

Good luck lady D - dread to think what environmental health would think of my kitchen most days!Grin

What is big kitty?Confused

Massive - it's actually also the colonel's wardrobe - think he must just be blind when he opens the door to the wrapped John Porter hiding in there for my his present!!Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 11/10/2011 08:19

Glad it wasn't just me, Spiro! It was so odd to hear Kathy Burke speaking like that! Do you want to know a secret? I was so confused that even after the film was finished I still wasn't entirely sure who the mole was Blush I was 90% there but still needed DrT to confirm :o

How fabby about MissSpiro letting you doze til 7!! I can really recommend the Tinkerbell game, btw. It's lovely, even if you're not a fan of the film. Even I like playing it :)

RP. Big Kitty is a fanfic story that some of us are reading. It's a Guy story, he is a naughty highwayman and it's fabulous. I can link if you're interested but I don't think you do fanfic? Having said I was going to read it I got called away to a 'crisis' about Halloween decorations at 6am Hmm so I'm off to check him out now.

PassTheTwiglets · 11/10/2011 08:20

Is it just me or does anybody else get a bit disappointed when you click on the new chapter link and you have to confirm "yes I am over 14 years of age" instead of "yes I am over 18 years of age"? :o

LadyDamerel · 11/10/2011 09:22

Twigs, having read an 18 rated one of hers I'm quite glad, tbh.

::twitches in corner at the memories::

Does TwigBoy go to pre-school today? Will you be able to have a read of the Panther and a nap on the sofa? 4:30am is horrid.

And hooray for the DSi, Spiro. I may bring MasterD2's birthday forward by a couple of months if they're that good Grin.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 11/10/2011 09:22

Err, Twiggy, no. I find Mrs Gaskell meets all my literary needs!

PassTheTwiglets · 11/10/2011 09:31

That's a given, Maud - I meant out of those of us who read it :)

LadyD, he's gone to nursery, yes, but I can never sleep when he's there as I'm always too worried about oversleeping and missing pick-up time! Besides, I need to paint the bathrooom wall...

TheSmallPrint · 11/10/2011 09:49

Morning All, TWigs I had a bit of a restless night too. It's Karma I think, I was watching a programme last night about a little girl about 3-4 who would get up in the night, go into her parents room and be awake for up to 5 hours each night. After 2.5 years they went to a sleep clininc where they told her she had to put her in her own bed to sleep and keep taking her back in if she woke up and, lo and behold, it worked. I was a bit Hmm perhaps she should have tried that in the first place only to be woken by SB Minor at about 1am who came in looking for me and then I stayed in his bed for a bit then so did Mr Small and then he came in with me and Mr Small went in the other room while the SB chatted away merrily and got scared of shadows on the curtains. Blush I am quite tired.

Right, off to read Panther...

PassTheTwiglets · 11/10/2011 09:59

Sorry you had a rough night, Small. It's always a squeeze when the boy wants to come into our bed as he has one of those little novelty beds, so we can't fit in there, hence all 3 of us in the one bed.

Right, really going to paint the wall now. I had planned to start an hour ago, oops.

TheSmallPrint · 11/10/2011 11:56

Oh well, got to go to a meeting now in my new frilly sleeved blouse which I feel slightly ridiculous in. See you all later.

Russianpony · 11/10/2011 12:03

Not not into fanfic Twigs, just not got the time to read it - if you don't mind sending me the link, I'll add it to my pile of things to read way behind Spiro's masterpieces!! Which I promise I will read!! Grin

Poor you small - my darling daughter didn't sleep through the night consistently until she was 3Hmm surprised she actually made it that long alive! Grin Even now she can take ages to settle down - thankfully DS has always been a better sleeper so far. But you have my sympathies, it's one of the trillion reasons that I'm going to stick at 2 as I'm not sure I could go back to those sleepless nights againConfusedBrew

How's the wall painting going, Twigs? Hope you are not being distRActed while doing it?

And Lady D, I was thinking if you environmental health inspector was a lady perhaps you could try distRActing her?

ps while looking for that picture, came across this one!! WTF they done to his eyes?!

TheSmallPrint · 11/10/2011 12:03

but before I go just had to post from our friends who wrote I am not A Horse. It's hilarious and also reminds me of a certain Lee.

TheSmallPrint · 11/10/2011 12:05

You have to get a least a minute in to appreciate what I am talking about.
