I've never wanted to be a cigarette paper before?! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 14/10/2011 11:52

Thanks Small. I can't see comments on my phone - will have to have a nose when I get in from work!

Russianpony · 14/10/2011 11:55

Only read that chapter Spiro - but want to go back and read the rest now!! Downloaded Wattpad app, so now I'll have no excuse while out and about!! Grin

Argh - I've done it again, nearly gone and forgotten to get little boy from nursery!!! BBL!

LadyDamerel · 14/10/2011 11:57

Thank you Spiro, I needed that last night.

I am calmer this morning, not so much muttering of bad words under my breath in his direction Grin.

My folks arrive this afternoon so I may be off comms for most of the weekend apart from very early in the morning. Boo hiss.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/10/2011 12:10

He didn't eat your dad's cake, did he?!

TheSmallPrint · 14/10/2011 12:20

Sorry, read chapter 3 as well, lots of good comments on there, Chapter 4 had one and it was good. Smile

TheSmallPrint · 14/10/2011 12:20

I want to know what he did too Lady D?

LadyDamerel · 14/10/2011 12:20

No Grin.

It wasn't actually that serious, just thoughtless. I was supposed to be going to a friend's for surprise 40th birthday drinks at 8 last night. LordD was due in from work at 6:30 so I'd planned the evening so he could put MiniDs to bed while I got ready.

At 7:15 he wasn't back, no call to say why so I rang him. He was still in this meeting which was well over an hour away because he'd forgotten I was going out. Cue me rushing round like a lunatic trying to put the MiniDs to bed, get ready, etc, etc. MIL came to babysit so I could be there on time so all was okay.

I got back at midnight, he'd gone to bed but all the dirty plates and pans from the dinner I had cooked for him before I left were all over the kitchen, leftovers still on the hob, etc. Cue me clearing it all up before I went to bed.

So I was a little bit cross with him!

LadyDamerel · 14/10/2011 12:26

Today's pic of the day has cheered me up though. What a cheery chap he is.

Russianpony · 14/10/2011 12:29

Very cheery chappy indeed Lady D!

Men eh?!Who'd 'ave 'em?! Well maybe there's one we'd all like?Grin

Did you have a good evening despite the male-incident?

TheSmallPrint · 14/10/2011 12:37

I feel cross on your behalf Lady D, Mr Small would do exactly the same Hmm. At least you got there in the end.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/10/2011 14:40

No wonder you were fuming. I think that is pretty much par for the course though. Sad

If Mr S puts Miss S to bed (rarely), then I will clear the kitchen and tidy up the living room while he's doing it, so we have a reasonably uncluttered adult zone for the evening.

If I put her to bed - he will sometimes sort the kitchen out, but I will find him happily sitting watching telly with pile of Miss Spiro's rubble in the middle of the floor, which I just could not do (and I am a messy bugger tbh!).

I bed PR would have done all the clearing up and have laid a trail of rose petals to the bedroom for you to follow once you got home Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 14/10/2011 14:52

" and have laid a trail of rose petals to the bedroom for you to follow once you got home "

... which he grew himself.

Russianpony · 14/10/2011 14:59

Whilst not forgetting to grab the champagne he'd popped in the fridge earlier on his way up!Grin
