Hoping that our PCT funds a rehabilitation stay for Daisy so that she can leave hospital and transition home safely

Another post from the garden, a recipe that deals with a surplus of beet greens -

I used to hate beet greens as a kid, but have started liking them of late :)

Gahhhh, why can't I do links properly??? Or at least learn to preview :)

Wondered if that was you, Angie Smile

Today on Free Your Parenting, Suzy writes about helping older children to cope with fear and embrace the unknown.

I'm just trying to figure out tweetdeck! So I'm on twitter, and I see it's uses for networking, but I can help but feel a bit itchy about all of this stuff just out there on the internet for everyone to see. Are we all going to be regretting this in years to come?

FlamingoBingo · 24/09/2011 11:31

Dilly - it doesn't matter so long as you're aware of it, so you're careful what you post. You're entirely right to be concerned about it, especially the Google giant, I think, but that's how it is now - well, that's how I think about it. I'm careful what I write about my children, and have a different privacy level for myself, but one that I'm happy with.

And I don't slag people off - that's a really silly thing to do online!

DillyTante · 24/09/2011 19:39

You're right FB. I'm more discerning about what I post now, especially now I'm across so many mediums. I still can't bring myself to have a face book profile though!

My blog topped over 100 views for the first time today! I'm sure that's small fry for some of you but I'm pretty chuffed.

FrauLindor · 24/09/2011 19:59

Hurrah, DillyTante. That is great.

I agree. I am careful what I post on my blog, and am concious of what I post about the DC. I went through my earlier posts and deleted a lot of photos of the DC.

FlamingoBingo · 24/09/2011 20:23

100 views in one day, Dilly? Or in total? How long's your blog been running?

DillyTante · 24/09/2011 20:54

In one day FB. Been going since July.

angie80uk · 24/09/2011 21:06

Saw your Twitter FB, unfortunatey I cant contribute anything :( We oftern find my 3 yrs old daughter saying to me: Don't worry mommy I'll protect you (from bugs)

That's great Dilly!

FlamingoBingo · 24/09/2011 21:08

That's really sweet, Angie!

angie80uk · 24/09/2011 21:12

haha yea sometimes she really surprised us with what she says. Growing up too fast!

breadfortheboys · 24/09/2011 22:35

Thanks for the Twitter tips Flamingo I must say I struggle it so I will take a look at that thread. I agree about being careful about posting - I've decided not to post any photos of my children or to use their names.

We made ladybird-shaped cherry and chocolate bread rolls today. The recipe is a bit of a work in progress but it is nearly there and we had such fun making them so I wanted to include them on the blog straight away.

I hope you are all having fun and/or restful weekends.
