Afternoon. From time to time on my blog I talk about things which happened in my past. Today I have given you one of my most embarassing experiences here which was inspired by a recent MN thread.

stitchthis · 22/09/2011 12:58

Mad woman cheria !!!! lol Grin

stitchthis · 22/09/2011 13:00

Just tried to leave a comment but it won't let me Sad

Cheria · 22/09/2011 13:03

Blogger's being a bit of a silly arse today - thanks for the visit though!

FrauLindor · 22/09/2011 13:46

Cherie
Just laughed my socks off at your post. And the comment from Keith.

Tee
I am Kommisarin Lindor from the MNPHQ - Mumsnutter Polizei Hauptquartier, a thread started to chat about the (alleged) English boy who walked into the city hall of Berlin to say that he had walked for 2 weeks from the forest in which he and his father had been living for 5 years. It has descended into a free-language-for-all zone with many in-jokes and lots of sillyness.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/09/2011 13:48

Thanks Frau (I decided to namechange, it's been a while). Am working up the courage to post my most embarassing experience ever. No, today's wasn't it believe it or not. But I might go back to safer subjects for a while first.

FrauLindor · 22/09/2011 14:33

Oh, wait a while so my sides can recover from the laughter today, will you? Nice new name.

Blog about my favourite entries on the M&B competition

There is a woman on the M&B website who posts the most stinging comments, some of them really unfair or completely lacking in tact. Most comments are generally positive, but her's are very harsh. Am waiting in anticipation of a bun fight any day now.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/09/2011 14:54

That's horrible - why would someone ridicule someone else's work like that? I'm all for constructive criticism but slating something that someone has worked hard over is just mean.

Angel786 · 22/09/2011 15:04

petite which post are yup talking about?

PetiteRaleuse · 22/09/2011 15:07

The one above mine from FrauLindor - she says that someone is leaving mean comments on the competition entries. I think that is horrible.

The person that is, not FrauLindor

Angel786 · 22/09/2011 15:13

Ah! Grin I thought you meant someone here had been negative lol!

FrauLindor · 22/09/2011 15:16

No, no. Comments on here have always been positive and fair.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/09/2011 15:23

No, sorry, I'm distracted and possibly not being 100% coherent

PetiteRaleuse · 23/09/2011 09:21

Morning. I've done one of my rare parenting posts, about how raising a baby over several borders leads to lots of conflicting advice here

TrillianAstra · 23/09/2011 09:34

I like that PetiteRaleuse, even though I'm not a parent I've really appreciated MN for opening my eyes to how someone can be so adamant that the way they do something is the way it must be done, the way it has always been done, and the way it will be done and the next person can disagree completely.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/09/2011 09:37

Tell me about it. I didn't refer to MN in particular but ....

Thanks for the visit.

FrauLindor · 23/09/2011 10:09

I just posted a huge comment, P'tit bit me pc crashed and is taking ages to recover. Meh.

FrauLindor · 23/09/2011 10:10

Huh? Petite but

That should say not P'tit bit

Bloody autocorrect

FrauLindor · 23/09/2011 10:38

Have posted a rant in response, Petite. Not a rant against you, but against the formula companies and HCPs who are still not giving correct advice on making up bottles.

PetiteRaleuse · 23/09/2011 10:40

I saw it, am not taking it personally :) I only even read the UK guidelines after several months, so you can imagine the shock....

FrauLindor · 23/09/2011 10:41

I blogged about it here

PetiteRaleuse · 23/09/2011 11:08

Looks like my post really wound you up - sorry - it wasn't my intention... Yours is a good, clear post though.
