Victoria Beckham- accident waiting to happen?

daily mail- warning!

Ok, I love my high heels too...... but the very sight of VB carrying her tiny baby whilst tottering around in sky high platforms made me queasy and worried for the baby's safety.

VB can surely afford a super dooper-kitted out-custom designed-one of a kind buggy, no? Much safer for baby than being carried by a stick figure in ridiculously high heels! And the woman recently had a slipped disc! Urrrghh, her vanity/insecurity/attention-seeking is totally out of control!

You cannot tell me that falling over in those shoes would be the same as falling/tripping over in flats. No comparison.

Ifancyashandy · 13/09/2011 18:33

I fell over and broke my leg in three places. I was barefoot.

GenevieveHawkings · 13/09/2011 19:02

"maybe she is holding her dd to protect her from the paps?"

Yeah, because they can't get a shot of it at all when she's holding it like that can they? Hmm

misdee · 13/09/2011 19:06

and also the reason that her ds2 isnt photographed much.

MelinaM · 14/09/2011 15:09

If VB really wanted to shield Harper from the paparazzi she'd carry her in one these:

www.orbitbaby.com/en/products/stroller-travel-system-g2/

...has an inbuilt paparazzi shield! They are very popular with the hollywood set.

RickGhastley · 14/09/2011 16:15

Not remotely arsed about that woman but surely she would be more COMFORTABLE wearing lower heels when out and about with her kids?!

I always wince when I see pictures of her having a day out at the cinema or at a sports game with the 3 boys and she is tottering around in 8 inch heels and a mini dress.

GenevieveHawkings · 14/09/2011 16:29

Off topic but I always think Romeo is one who looks most like Posh. He doesn't look anything like the other two boys, who are very alike.

Judging by what she looks like now it seems like Harper 7 is going to look more like the other two boys than Romeo.

GenevieveHawkings · 14/09/2011 16:34

Oh, and we all know that Posh doesn't really want to shield Harper 7 from the paps - the more photos of the both of them in the press the better as far as she's concerned.

And I firmly believe she wouldn't go out of her way to shield Romeo if he didn't have epilepsy.

Just as well she doesn't suffer from epilepsy herself - it would send her into a terminal decline if she had a condition that prevented her being endlessly papped. To her flashbulbs = the fame and publicity she absoltuely craves.

TheOriginalFAB · 14/09/2011 16:36

I find this hatred towards another human being very sad.

GenevieveHawkings · 14/09/2011 17:03

Hatred?

Just people stating their views/opinions as far as I can see.

stylenotfashion · 14/09/2011 17:04

Oh no, I hate her Grin Grin

Ifancyashandy · 14/09/2011 19:49

I like her!

scottishmummy · 14/09/2011 20:36

shes not a drunken slapper like the other plastic titted wannabes
never see her hawking her personal life like round detritus
and fact dm is apoplectic about her well that kind of warms her to me

GenevieveHawkings · 16/09/2011 09:28

I see she's been on yet another shopping trip (as reported in the DM) clutching the baby like she's just snatched it from a nearby pram, yet again.

Never mind the safety aspect of the 9" shoes or whatever it is they are, I think the high heels she wears look really ugly - like something "The Sweet" or Gary Glitter may have been seen wearing back in the 70s. Yuck. Mind you, she's such an utter slave to fashion that if it were the fashion to wear ballet pumps with Christmas puddings stuck all over them she would.

It seems she is absolutely obsessed with this baby in a way she hasn't been with her previous children. She's treating this baby just like a trophy and her behaviour is becoming increasingly odd - if that is possible.

mejon · 16/09/2011 13:22

I agree with you Genevieve - they are monstrosities. Her toes look all bunched up at the front and you can see the toe cleaveage or whatever you call it. And I've noticed that there's usually a gap at the heel bit so clearly her shoes don't fit properly either. Must be agony walking on the balls of your feet like that.

As for those permanently attached sunglasses - take them off you daft woman so your child can see your eyes!!!

TheOriginalFAB · 16/09/2011 13:28

Maybe she is different with this baby because it is probably her last one, or maybe the papps just didn't take the photos with the other kids. I know I breastfed my youngest for longer as I knew he was my last one as well as doing other things differently.

ChunkyPickle · 16/09/2011 13:30

I've fallen over in flats with my baby in a carrier - of course had I been pushing him in a buggy then he'd have been rolling off over the road instead so I don't think that you can say that they're necessarily safer.

She's used to wearing heels, and I really don't think 4 inches higher makes much of a difference - if it did, then I'd get to crow about how irresponsible you tall people are carrying your baby in contrast to my stumpy 5 foot.

GenevieveHawkings · 16/09/2011 16:41

There are simply not enough pejorative adjectives to describe this woman as far as I'm concerned.

ElfinNotSoElfin · 16/09/2011 16:49

I don't quite understand why some posters are such ardent supporters of her no matter how ludicrous her actions are. Are you seriously telling me that if you saw another woman dressed like her on Bond street clutching a tiny baby, you wouldn't think 'what a moron/attention-seeking/vain/irresponsible twit'?!?!?

OP posts:
GenevieveHawkings · 16/09/2011 17:03

Quite ElfinNotsoElfin.

And look at the photos - she's looming down over that poor little baby with a huge set of black designer sunglasses on and a mouth dripping in lipgloss. She is so self absorbed and constantly aware of herself. Her public persona and image is always her first concern.

Pinot · 16/09/2011 17:07

The sunglasses and lipgloss made me feel so very sad. A mummy that can;t make eye-contact or snuffle her baby without leaving gloopy marks.... well.

Ifancyashandy · 16/09/2011 17:13

Nope, wouldn't think that Elfin.

Also, she's out and about during NYC Fashion Week, getting papped to promote her fashion range. It's her job. I'm sure many of you would have liked to take your babies to work when they were little? Or had to time to put your faces on?

You sound so bitter, jealous and judgemental.

scottishmummy · 16/09/2011 17:17

i wear lippy, shades,a big mwaw kiss at nursery drop off.oh my poor weans will develop attachment disorder.blame it on the make up.vb shes a brand a business woman whose looks are her image.so naturally she not going to be photographed knock about in manky joggies and converse.and i dint think no sunnies is enough to ensure adequate bonding
