Not entirely tasteful, but it's what we all hoped really isn't it?

SupermassiveLBD · 11/09/2011 23:12

I had to do absolutely everything. Except biology, as a matter of fact. Explains a lot Confused

SupermassiveLBD · 11/09/2011 23:24

Anyway, time I wasn't here. Night all! Sweet dReAms, everyone.

LadyDamerel · 11/09/2011 23:24

Yeah, we could do single sciences but they wouldn't let me just do Biology, despite the fact I am more than hopeless at science/maths related 'stuff'. I think I lack the gene that allows you to understand those concepts Grin.

Is there any more Gizzy's Revenge up?

Oh, and going back to something Twigs said yesterday, some of the RH fanfic is Shock. I was reading one the other day (poss on Fedora's blog) where everyone bar Guy was gay. ::borrows Twigs' eye bleach::

DumSpiroSpero · 11/09/2011 23:29

Night Massive!

Don't know where you were up to with GR, Lady D - 7 chapters now. There will be another one but probably not til the end of the week.

I have read some of the fanfics you mention by FL. I must admit I think something has seeped into my subconscious as I had an idea for another Gizzy fanfic the other day which is a bit 'out there', albeit perhaps not quite to the extent that hers are! Grin

Good night Massive!

We got hardly any choice, either. I was booted out of Art because the headteacher thought that, being academic, I ought to do another academic subject, so ended up doing history, which just happened to be the subject the headteacher taught. Of course, nobody has ever taken the slightest bit of interest in what subjects I studied pre-A level (and not much interest in the A levels) so it was all a big con and in hindsight I regret going along with it.

LadyD - have you seen the long shorts (think Victorian ragamuffin) on the M&S school uniform website? Although notionally for boys, I think, they're very popular with the girls at The Girl's school.

LadyDamerel · 11/09/2011 23:38

Maybe one gay relationship within the outlaws could be credible but all of them AND the Sheriff (who does, admittedly, have a very odd relationship with Guy) AND Prince John kind of went over any credulity barriers I have Grin. I don't mind a bit of 'out there' but I prefer it to have a certain level of realism.

LadyDamerel · 11/09/2011 23:40

I will look at those shorts toot sweet Maud. ::can't be bothered to hem anymore shorts emoticon:: If they're longish he can wear them all year!

LadyDamerel · 11/09/2011 23:41

Of course, nobody has ever taken the slightest bit of interest in what subjects I studied pre-A level (and not much interest in the A levels) so it was all a big con and in hindsight I regret going along with it.

I could not agree more with you on that.

DumSpiroSpero · 11/09/2011 23:41

OMG! I haven't seen that one.

How do you feel about time-travelling/immortal fairies/witches? Hmm Wink

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 11/09/2011 23:42

That's a shame about the Art Maud. I loved doing GCSE Art - my only regret is that I never went and collected by final piece of coursework to keep Sad.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 11/09/2011 23:46

Dee-da, LadyD!. There is also a non-cargo version.

I'm sorry about the Art but have made up for it since.

::poncing about with a paintbrush emeoticon::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 11/09/2011 23:48

And yes, as I said many threads ago, there is a thesis to be written about the homoerotic elements in RH

LadyDamerel · 11/09/2011 23:52

Grin @ poncing about with a paintbrush.

I am the least artistic person EVER. I can not draw/paint at all. I can colour in neatly though!

Thanks for the shorts link, unfortunately they're all out of stock in MasterD2's size. Boo hiss. Back to the needle and thread.

Must go and see if the fruitcake is cooked through yet.....

LadyDamerel · 11/09/2011 23:54

I wonder if there is an OU course that has a module on auto-erotic themes in Robin Hood 2006 - 2009.

::googles OU::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 11/09/2011 23:55

I don't really ponce about with a paintbrush, as I don't like painting (except of the emulsion kind). But I have overcompensated for not being allowed to do Art at school.

DumSpiroSpero · 11/09/2011 23:55

Lady D - you must be fairly artistic to make those lovely cakes.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/09/2011 00:01

Yes, and what about your garden design? How goes LordD's landscaping, by the way?

LadyDamerel · 12/09/2011 00:02

I think I'm more creative than artistic, tbh. I liked putting up displays, etc when I was teaching and my cakes are not really 'arty', I couldn't do anything that involved painting onto the cake but cutting shapes out and sticking them on so they look good is where my strength is.

LadyDamerel · 12/09/2011 00:05

Landscaping has come to a muddy and rather uneven halt at the moment, what with the weather and LordD's job requiring his presence in the capital all last week. As soon as he we can level the muddy parts we can lay turf which will improve it excessively and if it stays as all lawn and no flower beds over the winter it won't be the end of the world.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/09/2011 00:06

Auto-erotic, LadyD? That takes us into slightly different territory, I think.

Anyway, on that note, I bid you all good knight.

LadyDamerel · 12/09/2011 00:10

Grin. Too much needlework has addled my brain, not quite sure what I was thinking then Blush.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/09/2011 00:11

::Looks back at you::

Dr Freud will be here later, I'm sure.

DumSpiroSpero · 12/09/2011 00:12

Blimey!

I'm now going to attempt to go to bed.

Not sure if I'll sleep with that one in my head Confused!

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 12/09/2011 00:13

::dons tim foil hat::

I would prefer to steer clear of old Dr Frued if I'm honest.

DumSpiroSpero · 12/09/2011 00:14

Who's Tim Foil? Grin
