How do I get started? Where do I blog? (sites) etc. Can someone talk me through it please?

Um....Start here

I recommend Wordpress.

Then go ahead and ask more specific questions when you need to :) We're a friendly bunch.

Sign up for Wordpress or Blogger.

Start writing.

Ta Da! You're a blogger!

(it really is that easy)

Do as MmeL says and all will be well :)

MmeLindor. · 21/08/2011 17:38

Can you tell my husband that, pretty please?

TrillianAstra · 21/08/2011 17:57

MrL: do as she says

VeraCanSignChocolateAndWine · 21/08/2011 19:27

Have joined. :o Now how do I follow people get people to follow me? Someone somewhere must want to follow me. Or is that being overly presumptuous.

Read other blogs, comment, get involved, build relationships, write good content often enough...get on twitter and meet people there who may be interested in your blog (but don't just tweet blog post entries - that's boring and annoying)...

MmeLindor. · 21/08/2011 20:35

Are you on Twitter, Vera?

That is the best way to get people reading your blog.

Tee2072 · 21/08/2011 20:38

Post your URL right here and we'll read it!

TrillianAstra · 21/08/2011 20:49

Tweeeeeeeeter is the only way anyone reads anything I post. Probably because people are on twitter because they are bored and have nothing better to do Wink

VeraCanSignChocolateAndWine · 21/08/2011 20:56

I don't tweet.

OP posts:
MmeLindor. · 21/08/2011 21:06

Ha. Yes, twitter for the bored.

FlamingoBingo · 21/08/2011 21:42

Better get started, then, Vera Grin
