Re. the nose, I'm sure it's prosthetic. There is a shot of him from the side where it's obvious... and I agree with Spiro about being more pleased with the recent pic - because it looks more like him and less like an actual, y'know, dwarf. Though I'm sure the make-up dept. wouldn't be pleased to hear that!

I am coming to the conclusion I am cracking up have to stop listening to the GH audiobooks. I had TCM on in the car yesterday (much to the MiniDs' joint disgust) and then reread parts of Frederica in bed last night. All I could hear was RA's voice in my head as I was reading . I could just hear the cadences of his voice in the narration and all the voices he does for the characters. The Marquis of Alverstoke bore a marked resemblance to Sylvester .

A similar thing happens to me LadyD when i listen to the audiobooks a lot. Hearing his voice in your head while reading GH is fine, it's when it happens when you are reading fanfics that you really have to start to worry.

Someone somewhere says Thorin is rather like a S3 Gizzy at 50, so what's not to like about that, for me though I still have to check out the rehearsal vid, I don't know if I am strong enough to take it.
