I like his shoes btw, I realise that my constant disagreeing is making me sound like a contrary Mary but I like to think of it in terms of variety being the spice of life.

Actually I really rather liked the interview, cringe-tastic though it was in parts. It was the bit about the temper that made me go all of a dither. I do so love Gizzy when he gets his mad up, you see.

I liked the NY picture too but wondered how a man of 6 foot 2 could possibly end up with a suit where the trousers were too long, a particular bugbear of mine.

Although better than too short Maud wonders how Smallboy never seems to fit his trousers for more than a week without actually getting any taller

Wow! Those Getty photos are delicious - I have completely forgiven him for the beard now!!!

I think, Small, that in part it's because their legs disappear into the long grass and you can't see where their feet are. Plus, it confirms that S&B advice about cropped trousers making your legs look shorter a real problem for a shortarse like me.

If anything made my legs look shorter, I'd look as if my feet were attached directly to my a*se

Re. the interview, I love some of the things he says but I'd rather read it as a proper interview. I can't bear those articles where the journalist takes random quotes and writes it up as if the interviewee had written a long article about himself.

I also thought following him to the after party was out of order tbh. They'd got lots of candids and he'd already stopped to chat and have his photo taken with them. FGS give the guy a break!

I don't even think good on them. Getting there hours early, yelling his name, well fair enough, everyone's entitled to make a cake of themselves in whatever way they choose. But trailing him (or anyone else) down the street and inveigling a photo during what might have been a very rare bit of downtime is just plain rude and intrusive, isn't it? Am I the only one thinking about Annie Wilkes in Misery?
