Twigs sorry you're feeling poo (as Smallboy would say Grin) get some rest and you'll be on the mend right enough.

I like his shoes btw, I realise that my constant disagreeing is making me sound like a contrary Mary but I like to think of it in terms of variety being the spice of life. Smile

PassTheTwiglets · 21/07/2011 13:01

I hadn't noticed that you were 'constantly disagreeing' so don't worry about it :) Besides, everyone disagrees with me about Teach so I'm the odd one out there :) Re. the shoes - they were too pointy for me and I didn't like the two-colour effect. I'm just being a Fussy McFusserson.

Rest - HAHAHAHAHAHA. I will do on Saturday though - DrTwigs gets home on Friday night and he is having them both All. Day. Long. on Saturday

Off to get TwigBoy's hair cut in a few mins. I wish town were not so darned uphill.

LadyDamerel · 21/07/2011 13:15

Articles like that are always cringe-worthy, regardless of who is featured, imo. It's just a bit wanky (sorry, incapable of coming up with a better word), isn't it? But a necessary evil when you are a sleb and have to promote your current project, I guess.

Love the Hobbit blog. I reckon they have a really good laugh on that set. Wonder if they need a new tea girl?

Twigs, hope the walk into town perks you up a bit.

I'm taking the dcs to the chapel of rest shortly to see Grandpa. Then funeral on Monday but MasterD2 looks like he's brewing for something. Whingy, coughing and flushed cheeks, hopefully it will be a shortlived bug.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/07/2011 14:05

Actually I really rather liked the interview, cringe-tastic though it was in parts. Blush It was the bit about the temper that made me go all of a dither. I do so love Gizzy when he gets his mad up, you see.

Also, he has an i-phone. Anyone know anyone who used to work for the NotW?

TheSmallPrint · 21/07/2011 14:25

Well not constant disagreeing just beard, teach and shoes. Quite a small list really now I write it down Grin.

I see Massive has a bit of the submissive in her.. Wink

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 21/07/2011 14:43

Submissive, moi, Small? I like to rile Gizzy up, just to see his nostrils flare Grin

TheSmallPrint · 21/07/2011 15:05

Hopefully he trims the nostril hair!

::staggers in::

I liked the NY picture too but wondered how a man of 6 foot 2 could possibly end up with a suit where the trousers were too long, a particular bugbear of mine.

TheSmallPrint · 21/07/2011 15:37

Although better than too short Maud wonders how Smallboy never seems to fit his trousers for more than a week without actually getting any taller

hard stare at tumble dryer

Gizzy seems very conscientious on the hairiness front, Small, apart from the carefully cultivated stubble. He must have picked that up in the Holy Land, along with the guyliner habit.

PanelMember · 21/07/2011 16:21

Yes, agreed, Small. The sock-flashing look is not good.

TheSmallPrint · 21/07/2011 16:25

oh blimey that photo's a shocker! Strangely they all look really short, do you think they've come along to practise their sword fighting skills?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 21/07/2011 16:58

Wow! Those Getty photos are delicious - I have completely forgiven him for the beard now!!! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/07/2011 17:09

I think, Small, that in part it's because their legs disappear into the long grass and you can't see where their feet are. Plus, it confirms that S&B advice about cropped trousers making your legs look shorter a real problem for a shortarse like me.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/07/2011 17:21

If anything made my legs look shorter, I'd look as if my feet were attached directly to my a*se Sad

PassTheTwiglets · 21/07/2011 17:35

Re. the interview, I love some of the things he says but I'd rather read it as a proper interview. I can't bear those articles where the journalist takes random quotes and writes it up as if the interviewee had written a long article about himself.

I hope it goes ok with the children today, LadyD. How are you all holding up?

SupermassiveLBD · 21/07/2011 17:36

OT, but have you seen this, Rick Stein fans?

PassTheTwiglets · 21/07/2011 17:41

Thanks, I hadn't seen that article, Massive. I do like him in pink Blush

PassTheTwiglets · 21/07/2011 17:45

Apparently there is a Strike Back 2 review going around, which has a major plot spoiler in it, so avoid it if you come across it and are bothered about spoilers.

PassTheTwiglets · 21/07/2011 17:46

Ooooh, Heather's report is up!! Here it is

PassTheTwiglets · 21/07/2011 18:00

Sorry to do so many posts in a row but I am going through Twitter and keep spotting other things to post! There are two more sets of pictures up: these ones are the CA premiere ones by a press photographer (no watermarks this time but some beautiful Twiglets!). And then Heather took lots of candid shots which you can see here. LOL, he has a halo in this one!

DumSpiroSpero · 21/07/2011 18:11

Have just read Heathra's report...

Is it wrong that my first thought was 'poor bloke' and the second was 'have they no shame'?

I think her vids are great and we all have our moments but tbh I was Blush even reading about their antics. I guess they are lacking the good old British reserve.

PassTheTwiglets · 21/07/2011 18:18

Spiro, I thought exactly the same. I mean, good on them if it got them what they wanted but I would NEVER have done anything like that! How utterly embarrassing, standing there yelling his name Blush

Anyway, Small, you have to join Twitter. Just discovered that Potato Face is on there!!! There's a lovely pic of him here And Maud, you will never guess what - he is learning to play the ukulele!!! :o

DumSpiroSpero · 21/07/2011 18:23

I also thought following him to the after party was out of order tbh. They'd got lots of candids and he'd already stopped to chat and have his photo taken with them. FGS give the guy a break!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/07/2011 18:27

::breaks her silence::

I don't even think good on them. Getting there hours early, yelling his name, well fair enough, everyone's entitled to make a cake of themselves in whatever way they choose. But trailing him (or anyone else) down the street and inveigling a photo during what might have been a very rare bit of downtime is just plain rude and intrusive, isn't it? Am I the only one thinking about Annie Wilkes in Misery?
