While everyone else is getting their thinking caps on

Isn't that something you could do from home though Massive? In-between school runs, play dates, etc etc. I never wanted to write, I only did my course because I thought essay writing wouldn't be required. Wink

So who has the hot news about The Mans return to the UK? I have heard no more since the email posted on one of the websites.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 14:55

Unless it's actual paid official work though, Small, it's difficult to carve out any kind of time/space where the rest of the family do not think they have precedence over your wishes to express yourself.

What what what, Small? what have you heard????

A week or so ago, someone linked to the most recent of his Epistles, in which he said he was leaving NZ for a bit. Didn't Small go and stake out Heathrow?

::narrows eyes::

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 15:10

Oh, that. Nothing new then. LOL @ Small. As if any of us would do something so gauche in RL

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 15:28

Yes I was meaning was there any update on that?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 15:43

Well, you should know if anyone does, Small, seeing as you have pitched an architect-designed tent in the Heathrow arrivals lounge.

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 15:46

Damn I've been outed, and I thought I'd camouflaged it so well! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 15:52

So, how is the houses designings going today?

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 15:59

Not so good. How's the rose garden?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 16:06

Time will tell! You should go to the summer exhibition - it has fab architectural models (although I suppose that is a buslady's holiday for you). Do you ever have your designs made up as models? I'm entranced by them, with all the teeny-weeny trees and even teenier-weenier people.

Nice choice of duffle coat, by the way.

PasstheTwiglets · 07/06/2011 16:07

I beg your pardon... Maud never promised us a... oh, never mind.

PasstheTwiglets · 07/06/2011 16:08

Ha ha ha, is it me or does the blondy shouty lady in that pic actually look like Small?!

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 16:12

Golly the shame of being caught on camera like that, for posterity! I always dread to think what I'd look like in the same frame as a certain someone, even though I was doing my utmost to school my features into normality.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 16:15

Indeed! Small does look as if she's getting rather carried away there.

Come into the rose garden, ladies, for the black bat night has flown.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 16:17

The bat might have flown, Maud, but Tufty the Squirrel is still out in full force...

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 16:27

But everything in the garden is lovely, Massive.

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 16:29

Yeah, thanks Twigs Hmm Grin

I used to make models all the time in my yoof but now it's all done on the pooter. Not nearly as much fun but a lot less severing of finger tips.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 16:30

You've got to hand it to Mr Thornton

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 16:47

He has such big hands doesn't he? Very long fingers. I suspect he is artistic.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 16:53

But not out of proportion to the rest of him, I always think, Small. says she carefully choosing her words And so very sensitive.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 16:55

One would certianly hope so Massive. He'd be very odd otherwise.

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 16:59

That sentence made my hands a bit shaky for some reason as my typing has gone to pot.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 16:59

In the Epistle, I was far more excited by the hint that he might practice on his cello and perform for Christchurch than by the prospect of his coming back to the UK. I think he mentioned .

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 17:00

Hand in hand in hand.
