While everyone else is getting their thinking caps on

I didn't notice the price, but I can guarantee I wouldn't be able to afford it at the mo.

Never mind, the best things in life are free!

And with that, I'm off to bed. Night night, sweet dreams.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/06/2011 23:23

Ah, look, you can see the bump! Good night, Spiro

Over $5000 IIRC

::Staggers in, hands on hips::

So am I the only one not to know of Massive Date With The Stars, then?

If you try to win me a date with JN it will be the end of a beautiful friendship. I am amused, though, to discover that Mr Maris Piper has one attractive feature - his ukulele. However, I still have no wish to enter that cringeworthy competition especially as I have had my night with a taller darker more handsome stranger.

If you were looking for elegant twigletiness and twigletty elegance, you should have chosen this.

PasstheTwiglets · 11/06/2011 06:18

:o @ Mr Maris Piper. I think he'd be more of a King Edward man, myself.

TheSmallPrint · 11/06/2011 08:05

Grin @ Mr Maris Piper too! Maud you know you'd love an evening gazing over a glass of Gizzy at JNs new hairline talking about him, him, him.

Im surpassed that you find JP too muscley, I dont think he is and I'm not a big muscle fan. To me he looks toned and fit rather than muscle bound and surely it's the same physique as Lucas in S9? Confused Apparently he didn't want to be too muscley as he was meant to be a civvy coming back into service. Anyway, as Spiro says, all the more for me and her. Smile

TheSmallPrint · 11/06/2011 08:07

Surprised not surpassed. Bloomin autocorrect!

DumSpiroSpero · 11/06/2011 08:36

Re JP's muscles - I'm applying the motto I have on my work mug - 'Too much of a good thing...is wonderful!' Grin

TheSmallPrint · 11/06/2011 09:04

Is that the mug you put on your RA mat? Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 11/06/2011 09:11

That would be the one! I must admit I'm quite tempted to get a mug - I could go into competition with the office Twi-slut for most bonkers employee!

TheSmallPrint · 11/06/2011 09:19

Just say someone bought it for you - don't tell them it was you who bought it for you. ^ up there for thinking.. Wink

PasstheTwiglets · 11/06/2011 09:27

I usually love him, Small, but in some pics he just looks too muscly. His arms look lovely sometimes (see the Caravaggio as a case in point) but in some of the pics he starts to look a bit like Arnie and that's a turn-off for me. Maybe it's when his muscles are flexed? I think I have probably said in the past that I find men far more attractive with nice clothes on. Then it's like "hmmm, what's under there, Soldier Boy?" rather than having it all shoved in your face, for want of a better phrase :o

Spiro, meant to say that we ordered 'Pants' on your recommendation and DS loves it!

TheSmallPrint · 11/06/2011 10:44

Well for me it depends on my mood, there is certainly an awful lot to be said for the clothed pics as we all know, but a few shirtless shots sometimes hit the spot! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 11/06/2011 12:01

Morning all.

I agree completely with Twigoletto about the allure of a gentleman in military tailoring.
Or any tailoring, really.

Right. Must go and hang out the washing on the Siegfried Line.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 11/06/2011 12:17

SupermassiveLBD · 11/06/2011 12:34

Hello, ladies. Reporting back on the success of the twigletty pics, and we get a big thumbs up from my pal. I shall now send her that one of yours, Maud, as the ears even look as if they have small points when you can see them full on. It isn't always so, so could it be just the one ear, I wonder? It's not unusual to have slight differences between like appendages.

JP is a living doll, but I seem to prefer pale and interesting, rather other-worldy Lucas and he doesn't look so stacked, somehow, as soldier boy. Though of course as Spiro said, it would have been the same body exactly in Spooks 9. Confused

No need to mention my number one favourite, of course is there? I am sure you even know the very pic.

ROFL @ Spiro's mug talk. Twi-sluttery truly lives up to the name of bonkers. But the Man is only common sense. We should all be out and proud, really, you know.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 11/06/2011 13:06

Hello, Massive. I can't bring myself to be out and proud to RL friends, but am so within the confines of the home.

Anyway, have a lunch date. Toodle pip!

DumSpiroSpero · 11/06/2011 13:42

Twi-sluttery truly lives up to the name of bonkers.

Particularly when a woman in her forties takes to rocking up at work in a 'Team Edward' sweatshirt on a fairly regular basis Confused (not that it would be a good look on anyone over 16).

I got hissed at by a bloke at work yesterday when I mentioned that I was a Mumsnetter (he'd obviously taken the Daily Mail view of us as gospel).

I soon out him straight Grin!

DumSpiroSpero · 11/06/2011 13:43

...put him straight, even!

PasstheTwiglets · 11/06/2011 13:46

Glad your friend concurs, Massive. Sensible lass. What is your fave pic? I know you love the hand one but I'm presuming you mean a different one...?

Hope you enjoyed your lunch date, Maud!

I have just dropped MissTwigs off at the grandparents' for a sleepover. Sadly, both kids at the same time are a bit much for them so we still have the lad here. He has a lovely early bedtime though :)

So, Small, did our JP offerings do the trick last night then? :o

DumSpiroSpero · 11/06/2011 13:52

Sounds like you're up for a nice evening Twigs. At least it's easier to wear out a 3 year old than an eight year old.

I've done my bit for the church craft morning. We're off to a bbq later this afternoon. need to have a discussion re who's driving.

SupermassiveLBD · 11/06/2011 14:02

MASSIVE'S FAVE PIC just to remind you

A shame about Young Alan being in the shot but my mind auto-Photoshops him out.

This one isn't too bad either

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 11/06/2011 14:09

Ahem. this is another that floats my boat

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 11/06/2011 16:23

Y'know, that 'fave pic' was the one that first sprang to mind but for some reason I didn't think it was that one. Hmmm, how remiss of the gallery people - I was flicking through the few shots after that, to find the Fringe Flop pic but it's not there! This is about as close as it gets but other than that, the gallery is Sans Flop.

So who drove, Spiro?

SupermassiveLBD · 11/06/2011 18:44

FWS CBE

PasstheTwiglets · 11/06/2011 18:50

Yeah, but that's only 'cos he's her dad...
