Strangers are friends you just haven't met, yet. Even when they are baddies and drive science-fiction-y submarines, wearing a smart grey lounge suit.

I am entirely with Massive on the Artist Formerly Known As Prince. I find his (apparent) status as a sex god baffling, but do like the tunes (at least, the greatest hits, which are probably the only ones I've heard). And the Tom version of Kiss is just ooh.

And yes ::stands up straight, shoulders back:: I am a Colonel in the Women's Liberation Army (Junior Division) Brown Owl. It has been mentioned before.

PassTheTwiglets · 10/05/2011 21:19

Here you go then, Massive - a Guy For All Seasons...

Spring

Summer

Autumn

Winter

PassTheTwiglets · 10/05/2011 21:20

I don't really like his music much but then I don't know a great deal of it. His voice irritates me too much to listen to it.

I didn't remember about the Brown Owl thing, Maud, I mustn't have been concentrating before! How lovely of you to do that.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 21:26

I do like that winter one in b&w, it's great Twigs, thanks. That season of mists about the trousers and mellow fruitfulness one always makes me laugh, though. Cruel of me, I know.

And he looks very sweet, tripping through the greenwood, full of the joys of spring. But summer Guy hardly looks happy ever after, poor man...

What a great compendium though Twigs. Thanks! Grin Now where shall I start with the clicking?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 21:27

Oh yes it is, isn't it, Twiggy? I am Truly Marvellous.

::preens::

PassTheTwiglets · 10/05/2011 21:30

Mmmm, summery Twiglets!!!

Right, a few chapters of Conv. Marriage left, so I shall leave you to it. Night all - happy (c)licking.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 21:31
Grin

Seriously, wherever do you find the patience ?

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 21:32

Night night Twigs and thank you for the Calendar Boy once again.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 21:47

Whoever said I had patience?

::Waves to Twiggy::

TheSmallPrint · 10/05/2011 22:02

Night Twigs.

Anyone watching Apprentice? It's classic Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 22:05

I never watch it. For me, it's like Coronation Street - you don't need to watch it because you get it all second-hand through other bits of the meeja. We've been watching the lovely Kevin on Grand Designs - I was wondering whether you ever watch it with a professional eye, Small? And is it me or do they all end up building essentially the same house?

TheSmallPrint · 10/05/2011 22:18

I love Dara!

I used to watch it Maud but I got tired of it, when you do it all day sometimes it's a bit tedious to watch it in the evening ( that sounds pompous but I don't mean it like that). I also get a bit annoyed by the claims of design by a lot of them, I suspect their design input is about 5% tops.

TheSmallPrint · 10/05/2011 22:19

I do love Kev though.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 22:26

I know what you mean, Small, but I am always glued to anything on telly that depicts my day job (usually in an eye-rolling "how could they get that wrong too" kind of way).

TheSmallPrint · 10/05/2011 22:33

Yes I found myself doing that and then got tired of it. I like to switch off and watch mindless rubbish or PSBs Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 22:42

Mindless rubbish is just about my level too. Holby City anyone?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 22:42

In that case, Small, I have a present for you. It's, ahem, not brand new .

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 23:10

::Having apparently killed the thread and sent Small into a state of delirium, Maud decides to dance a stately gavotte to ::

SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 23:16

Oooh, Gizzy! Ta Maud!

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 23:22

::Pauses, mid-entrechat::

Good to see you, Massive. How goes it on the island? What matters of deep philosophical significance shall we discuss now?

SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 23:26

RA personae I have clicked today?

Life in the fast lane with two deckchairs and a sewing machine?

White slimline telephones?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 23:29

You lost me at slimline phones.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 23:31

Er, I hope you haven't done yourself a mischief, meanwhile, entre the chats.
That could be quite painful.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 10/05/2011 23:32

Ah, you are not too familiar with the superior amenities of the Bucket Residence, I remember now. Hyacinth is very proud of her white slimline telephone.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 23:34

Mais non. We have been dancing most gracefully.

::Points toe daintily::
