Ok Rule it is! Can't stop now but will be back later.

Have a good day everyone!

morning all, up with the larks again this morning , I wouldn't mind but the smallboys had a very long day yesterday so I was hoping for a bit of a lie in. Oh well.

Massive I love that website, such beautiful drawings. I am not very good at the freehand stuff like that and I am so envious of people who can draw like that. I used to be better in my youth but never that good.

PassTheTwiglets · 02/05/2011 09:50

I've not seen those hair mascara thingies, Massive. Spiro reminded me that I was going to check out clip-in hair extensions but it's quite tricky with my haircut.

Small, a "quiet family day"? I didn't know such a thing was possible :)

We are having a family day as well today . We are going for a walk in the woods to see the bluebells, then going out for lunch (we need the assistance of Messrs Pinot and Grigio if we are to cope with a full family day :o and then going to the park this afternoon. I may be back later or I may be lying in a darkenerd room and quivering...

DumSpiroSpero · 02/05/2011 12:12

Well, DD was away last night so we were only woken by MIL calling at just gone 10am! Can't remember the last time I slept that late, even without DD here.

Lazy day, chilling with my girly today.

Twigs - could you get some clip ins and ask your hair dresser to put them in and cut them into your style?

Hope everyone enjoys whatever they're getting up to.

DumSpiroSpero · 02/05/2011 12:17

Now this would have me lying in a darkened room quivering...Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 12:53

And I think this would have that magical effect on our Maud.

and pretty much all the rest of us, tbh.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 12:59

Grin, Twigs, meanwhile, at the SFX in your last post!

PassTheTwiglets · 02/05/2011 17:08

WOW, that was a cracker of a photo of Mr T, Massive! And Spiro, yours wasn't half bad either...

The bluebells were beautiful, though it's impossible to get the kids to pose for a photo! Hoepfully got some nice shots though. Hope everyone is having a nice day!

TheSmallPrint · 02/05/2011 20:20

Evening ladies. Spiro I remember posting that pic on the Frankie Yum Yum thread (did you read it? It was hilarious) Kreecher reckoned that Yum Yum looked like him! Anyway some other posters thought that pic was creepy - what on earth??

Twigs glad you had a nice day, Smallboy major was footballing this morning and I now have a sunburnt nose. It is most becoming.

PassTheTwiglets · 02/05/2011 20:51

Who is Frankie Yum Yum?! The thread I like at the moment is the kids views of the Royal Wedding, it's so sweet!

Anybody watching Exile?

SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 20:55

Small and Twiggy, red and purple, what colourful ladies you are! Grin

Oooh, I love bluebells, I used to be able to get over in time to see them but not any more Sad Still, you saw them for me I suppse, Twiggs.

PassTheTwiglets · 02/05/2011 21:11

LOL @ colourful!

I take it you don't get bluebells on the island then?

TheSmallPrint · 02/05/2011 21:11

It was her local policeman. The thread was about some dodgy car cicling the block and then it got round to her hunky local copper who was 6' something with dark hair and blue eyes. It was very funny. I guess you had to be there. Grin

I'm watching Exile. Its a bit miserable though.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 21:19

I don't know if we do get bluebells actually. Twigs. Not in the towns at least, and I've never come across them on trips to the countryside.

I wonder where that poster lives, almost worth going round there and helping the police with their enquiries if that's what the local filth look like. Wink.

''You're nicked!''

DumSpiroSpero · 02/05/2011 21:28

Creepy?!

If you call the best example of 'come to bed' eyes in the history of photography, creepy then I s'pose so Confused

Sadly our local copper, though very sweet, looks like a refugee from CBeebies.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 02/05/2011 21:34

not sure if we've had this one...

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 21:40

I don't remember that one Spiro, but if we have had it before, you can't have too much of a good ....slaver...thing.

You don't mean this sort of refugee from CBeebies, I take it?

DumSpiroSpero · 02/05/2011 21:43

Sadly no. I'm fact he looks young enough to still be watching it, never mind on it!

How's your day been? I'm guessing bank holiday didn't apply?

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 21:49

No Bank Holiday here, Spiro. 1st May is usually a holiday but as it fell on a Sunday this year, no long weekend for the Massive boys

How did your girlie day go?

SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 21:50

Oh dear. Policemen looking young is not a good sign... Wink

TheSmallPrint · 02/05/2011 22:02

Blimey that got a bit heavy. I wonder what Metzler is up to?

DumSpiroSpero · 02/05/2011 22:05

Didn't end up being massively girly at all. DD wasn't herself after night with in laws. H had promised to take her into town & get her a cd as free Spotify is coming to an end, and I went round to see a friend as she's having a rough time at the mo and H dropped DD off when they got back to play with friends daughter (they're in the same class at school).

DD didn't get a cd in the end but came back with a boxed set of the Chronicles of Narnia. She's outreading me at 6 FFS! Still if she enjoys them it's a good excuse to buy the Hobbit Grin!

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 02/05/2011 22:07

Oh sorry my phone didn't update.

Spiro I posted the pic and asked if he looked like that, Kreecher thought he did a couple of people obviously have poor vision! She lives in Belgium unfortunately Massive.

TheSmallPrint · 02/05/2011 22:11

Ooh Gladiator is on Itv 2 - only time Russell Crowe looked hot.

Spiro Smallboy read TLTWandTW as his first free reading book and the Magicians nephew after that! I was a bit shocked to say the least.
Sorry she didn't seem to enjoy staying with the GPs I wonder why she didn't. My boys love their GPs and would rather be with them than us! Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 02/05/2011 22:13

How do you know I don't live in Belgium, Small? Grin

Great news about your bookworm DD, Spiro. Aside from the Hobbity potential, it's a great way of entertaining themselves.

No, I don't, Small Wink

DumSpiroSpero · 02/05/2011 22:16

Going off topic for a minute - can I ask you all to take a look at the link below and consider signing up for when you make purchases from Amazon. It is a cashback scheme that costs the buyer nothing, but the retailer will make a small donation for every purchase to the charity in question, which in this case, is one our friends set up in memory of their son & nephew (H has known dad & uncle since primary school), who died from leukaemia the Christmas before last at just 6 years old.

I wouldn't normally bring it up and please don't feel obligated to sign up, but as we're all regular Amazon users, I thought it was worth a mention.
