Evening - anyone around?

SupermassiveLBD · 28/04/2011 23:11

Hell, lady V, was just about to say goodnight! How are you? What happened about your neck eventually?

SupermassiveLBD · 28/04/2011 23:11

I meant hello, I wasn't swearing Grin

LadyVenetia · 28/04/2011 23:44

Sorry, just wandered off...my neck is fine now, thanks. I've just started some training towards an event in the summer and it hasn't troubled me at all so far.

TheSmallPrint · 29/04/2011 06:36

Morning, are we all ready for a right royal knees up today? [cgrin]

TheSmallPrint · 29/04/2011 07:03

Spiro, has your MIL really been camped at WA since Tuesday???

DumSpiroSpero · 29/04/2011 07:34

Yup!

Morning Small!! Spiro, I was just going to ask what Small did - really since Tuesday?! I am only interested in the wedding to see what the dress looks like and beyond that I don't really care. I am beginning to regret offering to organise this street party now though, as it's getting extremely annoying. If one more neighbour asks me what time it starts... grrr... READ THE INVITATION, PEOPLE!!! And

Are you all set for your BBQ, Spiro? Hope you have a fun time! Your picture was quite nice but the light coloured denim didn't work for me. This one, however...

PassTheTwiglets · 29/04/2011 07:42

Good Lord, that's amazing! At least she's been out of your hair for a few days :)

DumSpiroSpero · 29/04/2011 07:52

OMG Twigs! I've seen that pic before but it's got to be said that photo is the definition of sex on a stick! Grin

It certainly.... does things to one, eh Spiro?! I've gone back to look at it at least 10 times since I posted it :) Might need a little bookmarky....

DumSpiroSpero · 29/04/2011 08:08

I had to bookmark this one last night. I can overlook the bad photoshopping for the glimpse of chest hair Blush!

LadyVenetia · 29/04/2011 09:19

Good luck with your street party, Twigs....and I do hope you have enough potato salad to go round Grin

It's very brave of you to do that, btw.

And - lovely pic! I hope more of that photo shoot turns up soon.

PassTheTwiglets · 29/04/2011 10:25

LOL, LadyV! :) Non-FB peeps, I have made 5kg of potato salad!

DumSpiroSpero · 29/04/2011 11:54

Anyone else hitting the Pimms yet?

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 29/04/2011 12:01

Not yet but I will do when we go up to the sports ground. No street party here but I am wondering if the fly past will come over, the Jubilee one did and flew right over our house - it was amazing!

Did you all like her dress? DH didn't but I thought she looked beautiful.

SupermassiveLBD · 29/04/2011 13:11

Hello ladies,
I thought I wasn't interested about the Wedding, but found myself taking a peek earlier on., courtesy of BBC World. I liked the dress and the hairdo - elegant, modern understated yet classic and timeless too.

What I really adored was her sister's dress. A difficult neckline and one I'd look like a shire horse in myself but she pulled it off, I think, and the rest of it screamed class.

As did the lovely pics of our Man. Sex on a stick personified, indeed, but classy sex on a stick. So today I suppose you can say I'm doubly proud to be British [cgrin]

I love potato salad Twigs, wish I could come to your party. I would promise not to make embarassing remarks about your little obsession with a PSM and friends.

SupermassiveLBD · 29/04/2011 13:16

And talking of sex on a stick...

PassTheTwiglets · 29/04/2011 14:20

The bridesmaid's dress was waaaaay better than Kate's - it was stunning!! I thought Kate looked lovely but didn't like the bust of the dress at all. It reminded me of this.

Massive, I wish you could come to our party too!!

Spiro, I'm on a terribly un-British bottle of French lager :) Hope your BBQ is going well.

TheSmallPrint · 29/04/2011 17:13

Exciting news! We had a real life sleb at our wedding do! Can't reveal who without telling the whole world where we live.

PassTheTwiglets · 29/04/2011 17:38

SMALL!!! THE EXACT REPLICA OF HUGH JACKMAN IS AT OUR STREET PARTY!!

PassTheTwiglets · 29/04/2011 17:40

Ooooh, just seen your post - can you PM or email details, if you can't post on here?! How exciting!!

Re. Hugh Fakeman, DrTwigs doesn't think this bloke looks anything like him but he looks so like him that I actually did a double-take when I saw him!

SupermassiveLBD · 29/04/2011 17:47

How exciting ladies! Twigs Grin @ Hugh Fakeman. did he have a hat with corks on, mucho stubble, a grubby vest and a coating of sweat?

TheSmallPrint · 29/04/2011 17:51

Envy at your Hugh Fakeman! That's much better than my D lister. Can you get a photo and I will judge? Grin

My sleb is not very exciting to be fair but beggars can't be choosers and all that!

PassTheTwiglets · 29/04/2011 18:51

Well you know what, I did take a photo of him to see if I could send it to you for you to judge :o I can't post it in public though, obvs :) I could put it on my profile temporarily (as it's only you guys who can see my profile).

Massive, the outfit was probably the thing that made it look so much like him - it wasn't actually far off what you described!
