A lovely hot bath would go down a treat right now .

Maud there is a Bravissimo in Ealing Broadway - might be a bit closer than Cambridge Grin unless of course you just need the excuse.....

TheSmallPrint · 27/04/2011 21:10

Was that agnes? Didn't look like her.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/04/2011 21:16

Now, Small, I would rather go to Cambridge than Ealing.

I had quite a turn when I logged in here just now, I thought I was in the wrong section! All this talkage of dresses etc reminds me that iI had better go and look in the wardrobe and see what I have got that's wearable in public and what I need to replace. I usually forget to do this and end up wearing one or two outfits all season, only to locate something else that has been lurking in the background when it's too late.

Hot off the catwalk; First look at the New Season's key pieces Pour Hommes

TheSmallPrint · 27/04/2011 21:22

Might be a bit hot for Summer Massive, perhaps he could strip some of it off?

TheSmallPrint · 27/04/2011 21:23

What did she just pour down there??!!!!

LadyVenetia · 27/04/2011 21:27

Knock Knock...well, hello ladiez....

SupermassiveLBD · 27/04/2011 21:38

Hello, Lady V. Would I buy a used car from that man? Grin

Obviously Small the advantage of the layered leather look is that you can add or subtract according to the vaguaries of the British climate.

TheSmallPrint · 27/04/2011 21:43

Now that second one is by far the better look Massive Grin

Hello lady V, so what are you doing with that Cad Mulligan?

SupermassiveLBD · 27/04/2011 21:58

Come on Guy, give Small a twirl

Sorry, ladies, that was a bit gratuitous, but I can never resist that one [cblush]

LadyVenetia · 27/04/2011 22:01

Oh, just this and that...the usual...

LadyVenetia · 27/04/2011 22:11

We're watching Fringe...quite a good series...and interesting that Orla Brady is in it...

DumSpiroSpero · 27/04/2011 22:15

Hi Lady V. I've watched the off episode of Fringe - it's good, if creepy - hadn't seen any with OB though.

What did you make of the end of Crimson, Small?

OP posts:
LadyVenetia · 27/04/2011 22:17

:blocks ears: No spoilers for TCPATW please!

DumSpiroSpero · 27/04/2011 22:19

I'm not sure its possible to spoil the end - it was very ambiguous.

TheSmallPrint · 27/04/2011 22:25

block your ears Lady V...

I thought it was a bit disappointing at the end but glad that the coachman said what he said. Wink. I also wanted to smack William right in the chops!

LadyVenetia · 27/04/2011 22:25

I couldn't watch it because Miss V made an appearance, and as you know :cough: it's not suitable for small ones...

TheSmallPrint · 27/04/2011 22:26

Sophie was gorgeous wasn't she.

PassTheTwiglets · 27/04/2011 22:42

Maud, there is also a Bravissimo just off Regent Street - that's the only one I'd been in until Cambridge. Am glad to hear that you have a similar style which works well as I am worried my dress might be a bit too 'here they are.'* Sometimes, giving them proper tailoring works and sometimes it jsut makes them look twice as big.

I luuuurrrrrved your "add" picture, Massive - more than the 'subtract' one actually.

ROFL - earlier today DD had been giving DS lines to say to me. He kept coming into the room yelling "you smell of wee!" and so on, but then he came in giggling and said "Mummy wants to marry Richard Armitage!" :o

Night all.
x

  • I was going to use the phrase 'in your face' but 'in your waist' would be more accurate :o
SupermassiveLBD · 27/04/2011 22:51

Night night Twiggy. ROFL @ Twigboy.

DumSpiroSpero · 27/04/2011 22:52

My norks are bigger than I'd like, but I'm grateful for anything that detract attention up, up and away from my butt, so I can live with it.

I inadvertently taught DD the expression 'bangers' yesterday, a la Gok Wan - oops!

Off to bed now, long day tomorrow. Night all!

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/04/2011 22:56

Girl loves Gok Wan and falls about at the word 'bangers'! She'll also watch Snog, Marry, Avoid if I don't rip the remote control from her hand.

::oh the shame::

LadyVenetia · 27/04/2011 23:01

If anyone interested, Ken Stott (Hobbit dwarf Balin) is in The Runaway on Sky 1 now...

SupermassiveLBD · 27/04/2011 23:03

Night, Spiro. Do you think Gok Wan looks good naked?

Maud, that program you mentioned has just gone on my ''must watch when in the UK' list, it sounds very improving Grin
