i read elsewhere that she had been followed then unfollowed on twitter by a very well known footballer. of course he may just have done that out of solidarity with a fellow player Hmm
and in other news.... anyone remember that duran duran hit from the early 80's? video shows its age these days but it would be lovely to have a yacht like that, wouldn't it?

sharbie · 14/04/2011 14:55

Wink gotcha

teej · 14/04/2011 14:57

sharbie!!! i saw twitter convo recently and immediately thought of you! a certain object of your affections was being discussed as being one of the biggest PITA's to interview from a journalist's perspective. but am guessing you're not a journo so you'd be ok with him! Wink

dickcheeseandthecrackers · 14/04/2011 14:58

can we have another clue?

BarbaraBar · 14/04/2011 15:00

I saw mama mia at the weekend for the first time. It was really good. I was really looking forward to hearing their take on Fernando but it wasn't quite right (or perhaps it just wasn't in the film).

dontdillydally · 14/04/2011 15:03

oh other sites have listed JC and MO as possibles - great family man, his manager is shocked

dickcheeseandthecrackers · 14/04/2011 15:03

got it, thanks ladies
what a shock, not!

teej · 14/04/2011 15:03

dick ah, a child of the late 80's or 90's are you? you young whippersnappers Grin

so for you the clue is footballers on twitter. especially those who have been in the news for bantering on twitter recently. google is your friend.

but like i said, that might mean nothing....

sharbie · 14/04/2011 15:06

Wink i'd be cool with that teej Grin

teej · 14/04/2011 15:06

sorry dick, x-posts with you getting it.
dont a certain keen player has also had a namecheck in the speculations - but let's face it - guessing a footballer who plays away from home is like shooting fish in a barrel, sadly.

SingingTunelessly · 14/04/2011 15:06

Ahh. Penny has now dropped thank you Barbara. I think so anyway. Grin Isn't he always rumoured in these things though?

Bit0fFunnyBunny · 14/04/2011 15:06

Is it the one who was owen money? I find it hard to believe it was Torres, unless he has recently learnt to score.

BarbaraBar · 14/04/2011 15:08

Exactly - the same names always come up and it all gets a bit samey with footballers.

JaxTellersOldLady · 14/04/2011 15:15

well you could take your pick from most PL clubs! The only one who would really shock me is Redknap.

onlyjuststillme · 14/04/2011 15:21

Bof~ you made me choke on my coffee!

Jax~ i wouldnt be that suprised (disclaimer~ i have no knowledge one way or other on this it just wouldnt shock me)

I live near Mold, and think it is MO. A very pretty friend met him on a night out in a country pub near where he lives, and said he was very flirtatious, and she was rather taken aback as he is married with children. Nothing happened, but she reckons it could have, if she'd been that minded. She's quite an honest person, so I do not doubt her story.

If MO's wife is on mumsnet reading this, I'm sure it was just a bit of harmless flirting on his part.......

HazeltheMcWitch · 14/04/2011 17:54

Back when all the stories were in the press about Rooney bring the hookers to the hotel, the papers all said that apart from MO, no footballers thought ill of it. Now, he may be a moral man, but the smart money was on the papers trying to paint him as having - and benefitting from - that image, so that they could then use that as a reason why the public should be told about his shenanigans...

HazeltheMcWitch · 14/04/2011 17:55

Oops, I dropped this - -ING. Bringing, not 'bring'.
