This thread reminds me of a story years ago about a Premiership footballer ~(before their affairs became common practice
) who had had an affair and got an injunction to prevent it being published in the press....but it was eventually overturned and the story came out.
Anyway, due to him getting the injunction, the story then became front-page news but it turned out to be a very average, unknown (unless you were into football) footballer who played for a mid-table average club - I would say 'massively underwhelming' described that aswell but the story became huge because he tried to cover it up whereas if he had allowed it to be printed, I can't imagine it would have made the first 10 pages of any of the papers as it was such a non-story!!
I think this actor would have been the same on the basis that a lot of people don't seem to have heard of him and it is hardly front-page news
