Sorry, but I am SO nosy.

Top British actor
Married with kids
World famous celebrity
TV and film
Regular on twitter
Clean-cut reputation
Talks about supportive wife...

Who could it be...

I'd have said Mr Darcy were it not for the Twitter thing.

IWouldNotCouldNotWithAGoat · 13/04/2011 06:17

leaning towards Shaun of the Dead. Prolific Twitter user.

MollysChambers · 13/04/2011 08:48

The lovely Scottish actor sprang to mind for me - did a couple of biking TV shows as well as lots of films. Can't imagine he's on twitter though. And absolutely don't want it to be him - much to nice.

Are we allowed to openly speculate, or is that against MNHQ rules?

MollysChambers · 13/04/2011 08:52

I think we may have to be cryptic.....

If it is the same "lovely Scottish actor" that I am thinking of, I'm not surprised. His wife is an absolute pain in the arse.

MollysChambers · 13/04/2011 08:54

The french wife?

OP posts:
cybbo · 13/04/2011 08:55

Simon Pegg (shaun of the Dead) not married with kids AFAIK

havent seen the biker one on twitter

hmmm

cybbo · 13/04/2011 08:55

Mr Darcy def not on twitter

MarieFromStMoritz · 13/04/2011 08:55

Yeah, that's the one.

iPhoneDrone · 13/04/2011 08:56

EM? I hope not, he seems lovely

TheCowardlyLion · 13/04/2011 08:57

The Scot sprang to mind for me too but apparently he has not been on Twitter himself, just impersonated on it.

The 'most prolific actor of his generation' bit seems a big clue - does Shaun of the Dead really cut it? Mr Darcy seems more likely...

ClaireDeLoon · 13/04/2011 08:57

Shaun of the dead is married one child

SomethingSuper · 13/04/2011 08:58

ooo tell me more about pain in the arse wife!

MollysChambers · 13/04/2011 08:58

Marie In that case he's even more lovely for being so happily married to a PITA!

It's not EM. Twitter thing doesn't fit. And I refuse to believe he would do anything dodgy!

iPhoneDrone · 13/04/2011 09:00

I thought maybe CB (he of famous rant) but he doesn't twitter

TheCowardlyLion · 13/04/2011 09:01

Hmm - what about he who's in charge at Downton Abbey? Describes his wife as his 'anchor', 'bedrock' and 'the manager'; uses Twitter; stage, screen and TV actor...

cybbo · 13/04/2011 09:02

Whos that Scottish one Gerard someone. I dont like the cut of his
gib...

TheCowardlyLion · 13/04/2011 09:02

...and described in another DM article as 'one of the most prolific actors of his generation...'

Alouiseg · 13/04/2011 09:02

The guy who plays House, does he Tweet?

cybbo · 13/04/2011 09:03

Cowardly- Hugh Bourneville Dark Chocolate

DeepDeepFlavours · 13/04/2011 09:03

Maybe the actor whose surname is is the plural of the chemical symbol 'Fe'? Boasts about his lovely wife (her with an Irish name)...not sure if he is on twitter tho....

BalloonSlayer · 13/04/2011 09:03

What about he who once was Bertie Wooster?

Does he tweet?

cybbo · 13/04/2011 09:03

Yes I think House man does- but then i thought Simon Pegg had no kids so what do I know
