Good look to them, although I cant really see what Victoria was getting upset about.

Ive always said, be careful what you say on here the place is crawling with celeb mums! Smile

lilaloves · 06/04/2011 10:08

Also on dailymail online this morning

QuickLookBusy · 06/04/2011 10:09

Has anyone seen the Daily Hate!

It quotes posters off the thread being rude about the family. Hope they are ashamed of themselves, though I think they will genuinely feel they said nothing at all wrong.

peeriebear · 06/04/2011 10:15

I didn't see the original thread at all. I like VB, not surprised MN gets dragged through the mud when threads like that are held up for examination!

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2011 10:22

I didnt read the thread, but reading the DM article, only one poster (quoted)was nasty, everyone else discussed how the school isnt swayed by finances rather than intellect Confused

nickschick · 06/04/2011 10:22

TSC is just after a pair of vickys louboutinis .......Grin.

exhausted2011 · 06/04/2011 11:30

that's really unfair.
talk about taking things out of context

Blu · 06/04/2011 12:09

I would just like to point out that I did NOT post the comments they attribute to me, and in fact my only contribution to the thread was to say that I found it unethical to speculate abut the abilities of named children and that it was an invasion of their privacy!

And there I am, mis-quoted as commenting on perceived ability to get in! Angry And made to look like an expert of posh school admissions!

Damn the DM and their inability to get the simplest things right - who knows what else is a load of complete bollocks?

EvenLessNarkyPuffin · 06/04/2011 12:15

Daily Mail don't fact check shock. I didn't read the thread and won't, but tis ver' bad form to talk bitch about celebs children. If you don't like the parent or the parenting fine, but children should be off limits.

exhausted2011 · 06/04/2011 12:20

sue them Blu!
i am shocked that they took a thread that was generally pro Beckham and made that article out of it

AbsDuCroissant · 06/04/2011 12:40

VB's around?

Viccy my dear, could you lend me one of your gawjuss dresses for a wedding I'm going to in July? Thanks, you will save me a WORLD of Monsoon pain xxx

Blu · 06/04/2011 12:54

Victoria, I was sticking up for you. I said "I thnk it's really unethical and intrusive to speculate on the academic ability of named children - all OUR children in MN are given the benefit of anonimity.
However much the parents court publicity, why should a parenting site spread news / gossip / hearsay about the children's privacy and education?"

Send MEEEEEEEEE the dress!

AbsDuCroissant · 06/04/2011 12:57

It's going to be a BIG wedding - over 500 peeps. It would be like free advertising, so send it to meeee (I asked first) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

purpledragonfly · 06/04/2011 13:19

I admire Victoria Beckham. She's hugely successful and she loves her children. Negative stuff written about her reflects very badly on the author - not on Victoria Beckham. I should think that with the fantastic upbringing she is providing her boys with, they would do brilliantly in the exam anyway.

smartyparts · 06/04/2011 13:30

I hate the dm! It's like the trouble maker at school..

MmeLindt · 06/04/2011 14:03

Blu
I read that article while thinking, "Blu didn't say that! She said that it was wrong to discuss the children". Maybe Victoria will sue the DM for inaccurate reporting for you.

AbsDuCroissant · 06/04/2011 14:35

i don't know, maybe she did ...

Abs - watch out - PurpleDragonFly is trying to flatter her way into getting that dress!
Shall we push her in the pond after lacrosse?

AbsDuCroissant · 06/04/2011 15:36

Totally. She's doing some pretty hardcore flattery

HANDS ORF MOI DRESS

lovecorrie · 06/04/2011 16:10

Romeo is so gorgeous though isn't he?

lovecorrie · 06/04/2011 16:12

Anyone see this comment underneath the online article?

don't have any time for the Beckham brood but I would love to see the ghastly members of mumsnet flung far and wide and their website attacked by viruses until they give up.

Grin
Blu · 06/04/2011 16:15

I wouldn't actually fit into one of Victoria's dresses.
But I think she dresses well.

Dear Rabid Daily Mail Readers - I was being NICE, and saying it was wrong to discuss the Beckham children - many of you lot are being far far worse than anyone was on MN!
