Here we go again, ladiez!

Let's all make passes at Harry in glasses

Snuggly!

Beautiful smile

Dawn French is one lucky lady

Who wouldn't want to come home to this on their sofa?

Wot do you mean, nits, lady Twiggy?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/04/2011 19:46

I am quite sure that no nit has ever sullied this finely-sculpted head.

And ::snurk:: at the wardrobe inventory.

::Hides several cravats and FWSs (all slightly frayed) in her commodious reticule::

SupermassiveLBD · 14/04/2011 20:58

Maud, surely with all those winsome, but rather grubby little mill-hands he has round him, he might have picked up the occasional fellow-traveller.

That isn't a reticule I am sure, going on the stated capacity, it's more of a cabin trunk. Grin

Tell us about the new telly, when you have a moment!

PassTheTwiglets · 14/04/2011 20:58

Spiro, did you get a £1 room? I didn't :( I'm still definitely up for it though but will come home that night.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 14/04/2011 21:01

For the record, I was thinking more of a motherly thing towards him ie. "please don't put your lovely head against anyone else's!" I just automatically flinch whenever I see heads touching :)

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 14/04/2011 21:10

Are nits really such a bother in the UK nowadays? The Superboys have only ever had them once...
Twiggy, Smile what a nice kind lady you are with your motherly thoughts.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/04/2011 21:14

Hi Twigs. No I didn't get a room. Had finger on the trigger ready to go and couldn't even get into the booking page. Eventually managed it at about 12.15 but by the time I'd got my details in it said no rooms left.

I'm still up for it though - it's no problem for me to come up for the day and if we do find details of the actual premiere at least we can be flexible with dates if We're not committed to staying over.

ROFL at you having 'motherly thoughts' towards him, although I must admit there was a touch of the overgrown schoolboy about him in that vid, in the nicest possible way!

SupermassiveLBD · 14/04/2011 21:15

What you really need on CA night is a nice hotel suite to share so you could have a little party and all, maybe watch some DVDs together, imbibe a little Fizzy Gizzy.

PassTheTwiglets · 14/04/2011 21:18

Oh heck yes, DD has had them loads - there are a few kids in her class whose parents obviously never bother to deal with them so as soon as you get rid of them they just get reinfected. Drives me barmy.

I have plenty of non-motherly thoughts about him too :o

Goodness me, look how different!!

DumSpiroSpero · 14/04/2011 21:18

If we all turn up we could take over a Youth Hostel for the night!!! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/04/2011 21:19

I suppose you could be right, Massive. After all, his generous and progressive act in sponsoring Boucher's boy through school may gave brought him into contact with ::wince:: insect life. My reticule is rather like the tardis - its capacity is greater than outward appearances might suggest. It has to be, to hold all those hastily-discarded cravats and shirts.

The new telly is the height of vulgarity and looms over the room. Girl is glued to it. She wanted to watch Fanny Hill a moment ago, as it looked like another bonnet drama. Eeek.

Has anyone opened the Chateau Wine Gizzy yet?

DumSpiroSpero · 14/04/2011 21:22

That's a bummer about the nits, Twigs. I don't know how we get away with it with all of us in different schools but we've never had them.

Did have a heart stopping moment a few weeks ago when DD came out of school with her airline & parting absolutely black with something...turned out they'd been gardening and another kid had emptied a tub of compost over her head!

DumSpiroSpero · 14/04/2011 21:23

Hairline, even.

How was your day out BTW Twigs.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/04/2011 21:25

Maud I hope your reticule is large enough for the wearer of said cravats and FWS's too...Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/04/2011 21:29

Spiro, I couldn't possibly comment, but look who's drinking Chateau Gizzy with me.

PassTheTwiglets · 14/04/2011 21:29

So how big is Mr Thornton now then, Maudles? I have polished off half a bottle of Gizzy, btw... care for a glass of what's left? Wine

Spiro, that Mark Meets blokey from Twitter said that there is no premiere planned for CA but I am assuming he means that it's not planned as yet, because I'm sure there will be one.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 14/04/2011 21:30

Ooh, I do like a vulgar telly, Maud! You will be amazed though at how soon it ceases to seem to loom.

Yikes, Spiro, my heart jolted just reading about your DD's black parting!
Youth Hostel eh? Do they admit over-18's nowadays?

PassTheTwiglets · 14/04/2011 21:32

Day out wasn't as bad as usual, thanks Spiro. Kids were hellish before and after but whilst we were actually there they were pretty good.

How are your folks doing now, Maud?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/04/2011 21:33

Six foot two of smouldering and brooding, Twiggy. Same as always.

::contented sigh::

SupermassiveLBD · 14/04/2011 21:34

Oh, lordy...

DumSpiroSpero · 14/04/2011 21:38

My heart jolted when I saw it, Massive - I think i very nearly screamed out loud actually - it was horrific!

Glad you had a good day, Twigs. My DD still has upset tum. Saw nurse this morning - you were right about the dairy - strictly banned for 48 hours. I am knackered with dealing with it and suffering from cabin fever, although am hopefully going out tomorrow night. She is not too poorly but very demanding with it. Was sat on the loo demanding I get the Doctor immediately, or failing that, an ambulance this morning, much to H's amusement.

LadyVenetia · 14/04/2011 21:40

Hello!! Hope you are all well and I assume you have all seen the video!! Grin. 10 minutes of awesomeness!!

I was driving for about 5 hrs today and in meetings for another 6 - hence I have only watched it three times so far!!

PassTheTwiglets · 14/04/2011 21:41

Oh no, I thought MissSpiro was better this morning - poor little lamb. And poor you too - it is exhausting being a mummy to a poorly child, isn't it? :(

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 14/04/2011 21:43

Hi Lady V! I think I've flocked up 3x as well (H at home do having to be sneaky!)

The whole thing was v. interesting, but he was very lovely indeed.

SupermassiveLBD · 14/04/2011 21:46

Only three times, lady Venetia! How could you be so remiss? Grin A little RL is no excuse you know! Wink

Oh poor MissSpiro, I thought she was better too. Though I think the mummies get even tireder than the invalid. Same when the biggest baby gets poorly too
