It's all right for you lot, you'd be acting all innocent if you had to manoeuvre round a big sword and a rather volatile temperament...

Watch where you are pointing that, sweetcakes!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 20:58

I am sorry about the headphones, too, Twigs. I always keep a spare pair, as ours are constantly being involved in tugs of war. Sigh.

Have a good night, anyway.

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 21:11

You wouldn't want his hands with baby oil on really, not when he's holding that beast!

OMG Small....seriously?! Wink Blush Grin

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 21:21

What?

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 21:23
Confused I don't understand the conversation at all, now.
DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 21:25

I'm back on form and being extremely rude...

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 21:29

And there was me thinking you couldn't possibly mean what I thought you meant, Spiro. Blush

DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 21:42

I'm watching the Crimson Petal & the bawdiness is catching Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 21:45

Meanwhile, I just have to post this shot, it amuses me so much. Just like a shampoo ad. Grin

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 21:51
TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 21:52

I am also watching Spiro.

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 21:53

This is the film of the book Maudie was reading a while back, right?

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 22:02

Think so Massive. Has Maud gone away for Easter?

Spiro Prof B Cox on tonight very late if you have the stamina Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/04/2011 22:02

::Staggers in, with Kiss Me Quick hat askew::

::Observes the tone of the conversation, which appears to have fallen into an abyss::

Ladies and I use the term very loosely I have returned, thanks to the heroic endeavours of my new friend here.

::Smiles fondly at Mr Porter and his huge guns::

::Assumes they're all now watching Victorian raunch on the telly and thus unavailable for witty and erudite conversation::

DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 22:03

BBC2 are doing a 4 part adaptation - part 2 tonight. Very dark but very interesting.

What do you think of it Small?

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 22:05

Maud!! I was very worried about you, glad to see my man got you out.

I quite liked it Spiro, not quite as norty as I thought it might be.

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 22:08

So Maud, where have you been? Did the tele man have you locked up in his shop?

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 22:10

Maud, I am not watching raunch of any sort on the telly. Where have you been? Emprisoned by a mad dictator and had to be resuced by a sturdy soldier boy with a Heckler and Koch?

Or did you finally manage to persuade the Bloke to let you out of the potting shed?

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 22:14

Oh blimey I think they've grabbed her again Shock

TheSmallPrint · 13/04/2011 22:19

I think they've got everyone Shock

DumSpiroSpero · 13/04/2011 22:22

It's quite heavy going isn't it? Really interesting to see how differently men & women in society were viewed, and how they dealt with mental health issues. I dropped history at 14 so it's all new to me and I'm fascinated.

I would like to whack Richard E Grants character round the head with something heavy though - what a sod!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 22:22

They can't catch me, Small!

Ner ner ner ner ner!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 22:22

or even thumbs...

SupermassiveLBD · 13/04/2011 22:24

What a shame Maud can't compare and contrast book and series. or perhaps I ought not to mention that...
