Well, this should guarantee us some visitors if it comes up on 'Most Active'.

one for the mantelpiece

Ok, the next 2 aren't John Standring, but it would be rude not to...

There are very few programmes we watch regularly - over the years the mainstays have been Lost (but it moved to Sky and we weren't keen enough to subscribe to Sky just for that), Desperate Housewives (lost interest), Six Feet Under (ended), Dirty Sexy Money (ended), Spooks (enough said) and Being Human (lost interest a bit when it moved days) - but we do have a lot of family movie nights and so miss it for that reason.

TheSmallPrint · 27/03/2011 21:56

I think I might cry if I was tele-less for more than a day. Not because of thr exciting array of programmes I might be missing but rather it's just the background noise - I'm from a noisy family and quiet does not sit easily with me. Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/03/2011 21:59

I feel I should point out just in case GCHQ are reading this - that the earlier reference to a hand grenade was obviously intended as a A Joke as (sadly) I am not acquainted with Mr Porter and cannot get him to sort out my consumer law problems for me because he doesn't actually exist--.

Twiggy - Nooooo!

DumSpiroSpero · 27/03/2011 21:59

I love a quiet house! Maud, for me it's Lie to Me, Bones (but I lost track of the current series when it changed channels so am waiting for dvd to come out) and Spooks.

Hmm. Weird things have happened to my crossing out.

TheSmallPrint · 27/03/2011 22:01

I find him endearing rather than faciable Twigs, I kind of want to give him a hug rather than a snog! Grin

Maud there are very few programmes specifically available on Sky that makes it worth paying for but Mr Small disagrees thereforewe are mugged monthly for the pleasure of watching tosh.

SupermassiveLBD · 27/03/2011 22:04

Space, the Final Fontier...

Hello all, just a quick and to say thanks to Maud for the Gizzy pic earlier, I have missed him summat awful.

SupermassiveLBD · 27/03/2011 22:05

or even Frontier All this coffee is giving me wobbly fingers.

TheSmallPrint · 27/03/2011 22:08

Hi Massive!!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/03/2011 22:12

We were recently cold-called by someone trying to flog Sky subscriptions on some special deal. I told him that I had no intention of disfiguring my house with one of their hideous dishes (pointing an accusing finger at the house across the street which is so disfigured) and no intention of further enriching Mr Murdoch. He smiled weakly and left.

The only thing I want to do with Dr Cox is hit him with a rolled-up newspaper. (Many years ago, this was the fate that a friend decreed should await all those people that one finds annoying. My list is a long one).

I'm still waiting for you, Massive

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/03/2011 22:12

::snort:: at mugged monthly for the pleasure of watching tosh.

PassTheTwiglets · 27/03/2011 22:13

I did say it was only a tiny bit! I don't know what it is - I am fully aware that it's odd. but then I also fancy Rick Stein and that's even odder

DumSpiroSpero · 27/03/2011 22:21

Hi Massive!

Am off to bed now as have a very looooong day tomorrow.

Sweet dreams.

Twiggy - You seem to be suffering from some sort of emotional confusion. Would you like to talk it over with a doctor?

SupermassiveLBD · 27/03/2011 22:34

Night all from me too. Sweet dreams.

And Gisborne... Later for you.

PassTheTwiglets · 27/03/2011 22:36

Now, Dr Track - I bet you are ticklish somewhere....

PassTheTwiglets · 27/03/2011 22:51

Good night, Twiggy dear.

DumSpiroSpero · 28/03/2011 07:33

Genius! OMG what a way to start a Monday morning - second only to discovering all your numbers have come up on the lotto I should think!

It's quite something over the cornflakes, isn't it? at the gratuitous jeans-clad bottom shot at "look at those hips". So sad not to see Mr Thornton there, though.

::Goes out to get a life, having heard they're on offer in Waitrose this week::

PassTheTwiglets · 28/03/2011 09:40

Indeedy, Maud - could've done with Mr Thornton instead of

TheSmallPrint · 28/03/2011 09:54

Well , my oh my that's a lovely vid. Even some nice RH series 3 pics which I never thought I'd say. (1:28 ) and some absolutely wibblesome JP clips. Off to watch again..

PassTheTwiglets · 28/03/2011 10:01

OMG @ 1.28! I missed that bit! My replacement 30 Day Shred DVD arrived at the weekend and that plan was to do that today, whilst TwigBoy is at nursery but I think I will just have another little looky at SB3. And then I was going to fast forward through watch Ultimate Force as I did nothing but work at the weekend and feel I deserve some time off now! It truly is a terrible programme but ooooooh :)

TheSmallPrint · 28/03/2011 10:06

theres loads of clever little references - 'whats behind your back' (clip of tatts) and I'm sure she keeps using RH S3 for dirty babe bit Grin and we won't even go to the shackles and whipping bits!
