Apologies for linking to the DM but compared to all the pictures that are sold to magazines for cash, isn't this a gorgeous picture?

Miranda Kerr and baby

Well done them for being so unstarry about it all.

She might not be breastfeeding at all really. It might just be a publicity stunt photo with it on the boob.

GenevieveHawkings · 19/01/2011 15:29

..I bet the full-time nanny was out the back making up several bottles of formula and minding the baby while Miranda was busy getting all that "nude" make-up plastered on ready for the photoshoot Hmm

MoonUnitAlpha · 19/01/2011 15:31

Why would she pretend to breastfeed? What a weird post.

Longstocking2 · 19/01/2011 17:12

moonunit because sleb mothers very very rarely bf for longer than the photoshoot!

weasle · 19/01/2011 20:24

actually, in australia, bf is normal. ff is just not as common as here. most women bf for a year. they think bf for 6 months silly - it gets easy then you start making up formula?!

i think it is a lovely photo, and i didn't really notice the bf until a second look. great positive article.

I would have been very proud of myself if I'd done it with no pain relief!

Lying down was the only position I could get ds to latch on in the first few days.

Portofino · 19/01/2011 20:58

What do you say to the papers though? - "oh I did it without drugs and you know what - it was gruesome and horrible." I bet delivering a 9lb 12 baby fecking hurt a lot! She doesn't have to share all the gory details though. Even if she did, I bet the press wouldn't print them.

And stop with the turning of a beautiful picture into a debate about whether clebs bf or not. I don't care what she does. The love in that little family absolutely shines out of that picture.

"The love in that little family absolutely shines out of that picture."

Oh FFS stop already!

It was a picture of her and her baby - wouldn't any new mother look happy with her new baby? It's absolutely nothing whatsoever out of the ordinary.

ClareVoyant · 19/01/2011 23:18

she looks lovely, the baby looks cute, it's very Aussie woman to put a pic out of her bfing... i don't understand all the negativity.
