And here are our study materials for the evening. Not sure if we've had them before, but have tried to find new ones - is getting trickier Grin!

Enjoy!

Oh dear, LeQ, we really need that paper of the Bad Boy Archtype. If we could just make sense of it all, maybe it'd go away. Am loving the idea of Lucas as an escort that does extras, btw.

Re last night's War, I was tempted to say that Harry has his good points but he can't reach out out in time and space and do you with his voice, like a real man can.

But I thought it would lower the tone

That is a possibility, theresa, but if you pick the ones with good feedback maybe it's ok?

Harry: "I have this little friend Lucas, he is small and very funny."

Lucas: I know absolutely, completely all about spying.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 11:01

Dammit, then LeQ, I wished I'd gone ahead and said it.

My other fear was than Fangirl Teri was going to come along and try to batter them into submission with a fistful of faculty samizdat -- a little publication some of the more unruly elements here (and some who should have had more gravitas) have put together as a kind of Nuts Magazine analogue, which they have entitled Peaches

Bodenbabe · 18/11/2010 13:00

Oyster, I love you. You know what you did :o

MrsLN, would luuuuuuuuuuuurve to but I'm going to my parents tonight, ready for a fun day in France tomorrow and I won't be back online 'til Sat morning, waaaaah! Maybe John could take a daytrip? :)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 18/11/2010 13:37

I did, though, enjoy Boden's still photograph taken from the classic film The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner.

40deniertights · 18/11/2010 13:45

Liking that action shot! Did anyone else feel that Lucas wore unsuitable shoes for running in, and that trainers would have been better. maybe things would have turned out differently with less slippy shoes.

Bodenbabe · 18/11/2010 13:49

LOL, 40DT!!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 14:40

Mrs LN, sorry not to have responded before but I was invaded by RL. A date with John Lucas sounds perfect. I am looking forward to it.

Could you do with a large small Polish Cordial as well? Or shall I call the doctor?

MrsLucasNorth · 18/11/2010 15:25

Bodenbabe - by what means of transport are you going to France?

Evening ladies!

Can anyone give me a brief synopsis of today's lectures? PluurreeeezzzzeGrin

I've been running around all day sorting out final details for a sponsored run that my DD and 3 of her school friends are doing tomorrow after school for Children in Need - they've so far raised over £600 which I think is pretty astounding for 4 5-7year olds!! Perhaps the long distance runner himself would like to sponsor or even join us tomorrow at 4pm?!Grin

Hopefully catch up a bit later, but MrsLN always up for an adventure me?! Grin

StripeyMoon · 18/11/2010 16:52

OKay which one of you is outbidding me on ebay??????

I may have to beat you round the head with my Bear

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 16:54

What for, Stripey? A little plastic Guy?

StripeyMoon · 18/11/2010 16:56

No, strikeback

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 16:59

Not me, Stripey, I don't even have an eBay account.

Fettle, congrats to MiniFettle on her fundraising, that's amazing.

Not a lot has been done today really. I think everyone was a bit tired after yesterday's War
