And here are our study materials for the evening. Not sure if we've had them before, but have tried to find new ones - is getting trickier Grin!

Enjoy!

Where is that, Mrs LN? I must have missed it.

I am wrestling with my dark side here though, maybe I shouldn't indulge it further than Guy, Lucas and your GTN and JL. Or does the fanfic make it out to have been all a Misunderstanding?

Moving swiftly on, people are saying that last night's full moon I was wittering on about was a Blue Moon. Sort of appropriate for such a momentous night, if it's true.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 17:24

PS I found the blue moon link again

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 17:24

Theresa - Thank you for the invitation but I am determined not to bore people by endlessly recounting the details of my night with Mr Armitage. So to speak.

Flowers, I think there's just about as much likelihood of anyone on here getting bored with that topic as there is of the real live Superman turning up and flying past your window. Without his underpants.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 17:31

For Theresa, to whom I owe so much. This is not blue, .

BodenBabe · 22/11/2010 17:33

Bore us? Flowers, have you gone completely crazy, my dear woman?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 17:36

Well, Boden, I may be a little unhinged by the experience! I am trying to find a suitable picture. Bear with me.

And how's TeenageTwitterLucas? Still playing with his screwdriver?

BodenBabe · 22/11/2010 17:38
ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 17:43

I notice everything, Boden.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 17:51

Yeah, like so sophisticated, that screwdriver stuff, innit?

That vid was unusual but very gorgeous, and with horse-riding too. And some top-notch smouldering. I do like a nice smoulder, along with a beg and a fetch, now and then, for a change. Love the music too.

Thanks Flowers, my timbers are duly shivered.

BodenBabe · 22/11/2010 17:51

So 'noticing' would be completely different to 'avidly reading Lucas' Twitter feed', would it? Wink

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 17:53

Lucas has a sonic screwdriver btw. Didn't you notice it in Season 7 somewhere?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/11/2010 17:57

I think it would, Boden. I stop by about once every two days to see what the silly boy is up to. I notice too that - apart from the stalwart Ruth - even his chums from the Grid are not following him now. I am not there twirting before breakfast. Confused Wink

Was the vid unusual, Theresa? To be honest, I thought it was the usual clips assembled in a slightly different order but with a good soundtrack.

PrairieOyster · 22/11/2010 18:08

MrsLN - not wanting to be a bore but can I just point out a slight inaccuracy in your John Lucas story which is that the Eurostar terminal at Waterloo station is now closed....

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 18:10

There were some of the usual clips, Flowers, but some I hadn't seen before. I am sure I would have noticed them as he looks like wild red hot sex incarnate absolutely charming in them.

As alway I could have done with out the dreaded u kno wot but as I always think, Beggars can't be choosers.

MrsLucasNorth · 22/11/2010 18:10

Theresa - Oyster Dm'd the Lovelace link to me via Twitter - I think she was a bit reluctant to post it here as it's content is very adult (but considerably nicer than what actually happens in Clarissa).
If you're on Twitter can do it that way or will double check there wasn't any other reason for not posting it on here and pop it on later.

Hi Oyster - I did add the rider that I haven't been on it myself (not claustrophobic but don't fancy it I must admit).

Theresa is after a bit more of Lovelace - was there any reason other than it's adult content that you didn't post the link on here?

Ooops Mrs LN, don't want to get anyone into trouble here. Maybe we should leave it.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 18:25

I didn't find Clarissa tame one bit, myself Grin

I have been having an interesting time comparing the radio adaptation to the original book. As an example, here is Richardson's version of the opening of Part 2.

What do you think?

MrsLucasNorth · 22/11/2010 18:25

Blimey Teri - I think we've killed the thread.

Come back ladies....!

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/11/2010 18:30

I am still here anyway

MadameOvary · 22/11/2010 18:31

No you haven't.
I'm still here Grin

MrsLucasNorth · 22/11/2010 18:31

I picked the book up from the library last week but haven't started it yet - it's huge!
The fanfic carries on where I draw a line with GTN and JL, but it is really quite sweet as it's written as if Lovelace's feelings for Clarissa are both genuine and returned.
