And here are our study materials for the evening. Not sure if we've had them before, but have tried to find new ones - is getting trickier Grin!

Enjoy!

Oh dear, Tights. How could MrTights delete RH? Was it on a SkyBox thingy?

Think you should post this in AIBU: AIBU to threaten divorce because MrTights has deprived me of my Guy swoontime?

40deniertights · 20/11/2010 21:17

Yes it was. Need Ye Olde Video Recorder. So far he hasn't asked why I was so desperate to see it Blush

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 21:21

Repeat after me. Robin Hood is wholesome family entertainment. Robin Hood is wholesome family entertainment. Robin Hood is wholesome family entertainment.

Fortunately for me, The Poet agrees and has even been known to suggest watching it. After all, he makes me sit through all sorts of dross (while I simultaneously MN or rummage in the YT basement, but that's by the by).

I love that vid, Flowers. Oh, the way he looks at her at 3'11... and I've seen this bit before but I adore how his fringe flops over at 3'27. Beautiful FAF too. Nice work, Flowery one!

40DT, glad goofbay worked but oh no at losing RH :(

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 21:24

Oops. Cross-posts.

Yes, the inclusion of the apple would have helped.

No word from Theresa. Either YT has chucked her out again or she is gasping, semi-conscious, on the floor.

PrairieOyster · 20/11/2010 21:24

Tights - my sympathy - I fight a battle literally every time I watch RH - doesn't help that following extensive study, I have concluded that there is indeed only one reason to watch it. But what a reason...Grin

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 21:27

Hi, Boden.

I think my favourite shot is where he is in profile, backlit by candlelight.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 20/11/2010 21:30

Gulp! Thank goodness for strong steel stays or I'd be in a heap on the floor.

Ttat was a lot of fun, Flowers, as well as deeply, moving. One to project on one's minds' eye at boring moments in RL perhaps. Though not when chopping carrots.

Only one short BBT moment too.

And I can see what they mean about pleather, sometimes that jacket doesn't hang right.

But for the first time in my life I have found myself wishing I were a glove

Thanks

PrairieOyster · 20/11/2010 21:33

On the topic of RH, I might just mention that I have the two S3 RH audiobooks (The Witchfinders, The Siege) and they are both actually rather better than many RH episodes and of course you get 'the voice'. But they are quite short for audiobooks, about an hour each.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 20/11/2010 21:33

PS where is the icebucket?

Bodenbabe · 20/11/2010 21:34

Candlight profile beautiful - I'd missed that bit before. Wow, look how he walks in at 41" - that it so a John Lucas walk.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 21:38

Anyone want another glass of Polish cordial?

If you are recovered, I have another gem from the basement. This one is rather more decorous and in tune with notions of courtly love. So shall I press the start button?

40deniertights · 20/11/2010 21:41

I wondered if maybe Theresa was out having a fun Saturday night. Seems no one is? Thank you all for your understanding and kind words, but at least there is another episode tomorrow morning. Don't think he'll be pressing delete so quickly again [righteous indignation and punishing him for a whole week emoticon] You'd think we'd have one of those available really.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 20/11/2010 21:43

Well you can tell how much I liked it, my glasses just self-destructed.
A very naughty expression at the beginning! Yummy
He has a great walk both from the front and back, eg at 2. 10. and the way he comes down those castle steps should be illegal

I agree about the profile in the candlelight too. Sigh I adore his profile full stop, I am nuts about his nose.

Bodenbabe · 20/11/2010 21:43

When it all gets too much...

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 21:44

Perhaps you could adapt the Pombear emoticon, Tights?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 20/11/2010 21:46

Press away, Flowers. I apologise for commenting so late, YT is taking forever to load again. Then of course I have to wait for my fingers to stop trembling so I can type

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 21:49

Tee hee, Boden. I saw the thread about those DIY Keep Calm and Carry On posters. Of course, it should read Keep Calm and Think Of Mr Thornton - he is after all - although that would necessitate a very small font.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 20/11/2010 21:53

I don't think Lucas is all that conducive to calm thoughts, myself.

Mr Thornton is about the best of the bunch but even he is pretty discombobulating.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 21:54

No need to apologise, Theresa. I was just worried that you were prostrate on the floor with nobody to assist you.

Here is my latest find. .

PrairieOyster · 20/11/2010 21:56

Excuse me, but what is Polish Cordial?

Bodenbabe · 20/11/2010 21:56

Here's yours, Flowers

Bodenbabe · 20/11/2010 22:03

Vodka, Oyster.

Blimey. Twitter Lucas has just "snogged my face off". Yikes.

PrairieOyster · 20/11/2010 22:04

Poor Gizzy - he deserved much better, nice video Flowers which I haven't seen before

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 20/11/2010 22:05

Polish cordial, Oyster, is vodka, to which we were introduced a thread or two ago when, during a creative writing moment, Theresa slipped it into my lemon barley water in the hope of making me a little less, ahem, inhibited around Mr Thornton.
