And here are our study materials for the evening. Not sure if we've had them before, but have tried to find new ones - is getting trickier Grin!

Enjoy!

No, Stripey, Guy's pose was less painful looking and less endangering of sunstroke.
So it just looked like a bit of naughty fun, rather than torture.

Thanks Mrs LN, not sure about number one, you can see up his undeniably beautiful nose, poor dear. But the other ones are hot interesting. Am loving Calendar Boy especially. I hope he is on all twelve leaves, or I shall demand my money back.

StripeyMoon · 19/11/2010 17:03

Less than 6 hours MrsLN and I can slow mo my way through the whole thing.

Can you clarify your question about the hair, Stripey?

StripeyMoon · 19/11/2010 17:06

I mean do you like the longer hair on him as RA as opposed to in character as Guy?

StripeyMoon · 19/11/2010 17:08

I can 'allow' the hair as Guy as it sort of suits the character but on RA as just him it looks wrong. Does that make sense?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/11/2010 17:13

I just saw the photo as Guy wearing a shirt, rather than RA, so it worked for me. Wasn't there a whisker of Guyliner there too?
Nuts, that's me!

StripeyMoon · 19/11/2010 17:15

Oh no, guyliner out of character would be all wrong! Shock

StripeyMoon · 19/11/2010 17:16

Have checked again but I think he's just tired Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/11/2010 17:25

If I think of him as RA in that shot, well obviously he was shooting RH so his hair would have to be long. And maybe the Guyliner got sort of ground in with constant application. So he looks just fine to me.

To me he always looks divine in any guise.

Though I did find the RH Season Three look a bridge too far. I think those were extensions at least.

Fettle · 19/11/2010 18:06

Hey all!

No time to catch up, but just had to tell you that that picture of Lucas running really did help me when all energy had been sapped away during our run!!Grin

The girls raised over £800 and still people say they are going to pledge more - hopefully that will make my aching legs feel better!! So I'm off for a long hot bath now.......

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/11/2010 18:22

Well done Fettle and minFettles. Congratulations on your great feat. I am grinning hugely at the thought of your inspiration. Is there no end to his talents?

Don't know why stupid BBC don't let us see Children in Need world-wide any more. You used even to be able to ring up and donate
Bear Bear Bear

MrsLucasNorth · 19/11/2010 18:23

Well done Fettle & the girls. Will have to try and find a suitable treat for you later! Wink

I suppose it's all Selfish Gene stuff, LeQueen. The need is for a genetic contribution that has proved itself capable of sustaining life through hardship. Mere symmettry could just be the luck of the draw.

PrairieOyster · 19/11/2010 19:12

Well done Fettle on all your fundraising'

Liking Mr June very much

MrsLucasNorth · 19/11/2010 19:30

Oyster - forgive me for being a bit thick, but what does all this #ff stuff on Twitter actually mean?

OP posts:
40deniertights · 19/11/2010 20:54

Well done Fettle and small Fettles. That is excellent. Glad we are all in consensus about the unhappiness of being born with symmetrical features- good news for some of us! Agree with LeQ, could never see the appeal of pretty types.

PrairieOyster · 19/11/2010 21:26

#FF stands for #followfriday or #fridayfollow - people just tweet their favourite followers. I don't usually do it much - but I may have gone a little overboard today. I mostly only #ff people who have mentioned me over the last week, with a few exceptions...

PrairieOyster · 19/11/2010 21:27

It's to encourage other people to follow the ones you tweet

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/11/2010 21:30

Twitter is totally beyond me, Oyster,

PrairieOyster · 19/11/2010 21:31

Ooh - just saw (heard) the Hyundai advert on tv for first time!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/11/2010 21:35

Nice?

MrsLucasNorth · 19/11/2010 21:36

Thanks Oyster. Have only been.on Twitter a few weeks and it takes a bit of getting used to. If you see me making a tit of myself please let me know! Grin

Well done FamilyFettle!

I agree with Theresa about the difference between Guy tied to a tree (naughty fun) and John Porter tied to a wooden cross (imminent crucifixion). Very different things and the images have very different associations.

I just found this in the basement.
