Very sad for her. According to the article she will only get to see her little boy every other weekend which doesn't seem enough really.

This happens to men all of the time, I would imagine (with all of the lawyers she could afford) that her behaviour must have been pretty dreadful.

I wonder what's gone on there. I know she's part of the 'Primrose Hill' set, and never had a reputation for being a very nice person

Her behaviour must have been pretty grim or he was a SAHD which, considering she isn't very busy workwise, is unlikely.

Maybe she agreed to it. It says in the article that the financial wrangling is what caused it to be so long and drawn out. The ins and outs of the custody hearing aren't discussed. Maybe she recognises the arrangement is what is best for her son and her.

If he were a woman, I suspect he may be accused of being a gold digger, no ?

This is quite an unusual outcome, which is why it is in the news. If it was her who got custody, we would have heard nothing about it I suspect.

There must be more to it - either she has agreed to this, which I find very sad, or she has been up to something that would lead the judge to give residency to her DH.

exactly pioneer, I dont think this is really news. Its not enough to see your child but given that granting custody to the father is so unusual she must have agreed to it or been so awful that she had no choice.

I am just reading an interview with her in 'OK' magazine (Shoot me!) and I am quite shocked that she says she had IVF "There was no problem I was just impatient. I wanted to conceive triplets - extremism as usual"

Also about her baby "I was obsessed with the baby and bringing a beautiful child into the world...The baby had all the features I didn't want from both of us"

Sher calls the baby 'it' a lot. It's all so sad and seems that she suffered (according to her) from alcoholism all the way through.

Reading it, it really does sound like she was (is?) mentally imbalanced

She seems to think that the baby is bestter off with her Ex husband and that now she is recovering from alcoholism it's much better for the times she does see her son. I do hope that whatever it is that she is working through comes good for the sake of her child more than anything

I can't remember where I heard this but I am pretty sure I read somewhere she is an alcoholic.

I read that ok article. It was really sad. She is obviously not well. But you have to wonder at the self esteem of someone who is just described as a friend of the beckhams.

I would think that the amount of extremely strong cocaine she has been doing for years may impact as much as the booze on Davinia's mental health issues

I also have heard that she has a nasty cocaine habit.

I don't automatically assume it is a tragedy when a mother loses custody of her child. perhaps it has been decided that the father is the better parent.
