Why did you continue having children when you can’t support them? Why should I as a taxpayer support your children?

Why did you continue to have more kids ? When you already had kids with no dad around that need your time and attention ? Not being unkind I’m just wondering why ?

Tinahowls · 26/07/2026 11:41

You honestly think posters would have come on to your AMA and asked you for “meal ideas”?

(In any event, you say you “hate meal times”)

DontBuyAnotherBook · 26/07/2026 11:42

You didn't answer about DLA. Not judging as I get it for my son but it means you get more than you say.

Sometimes! I love picnics (but not wasps...)

Yes we had wasps too, and lots of screaming… but fun screaming. Have you brought them to the seaside for a day? That’s a big expedition.

About 50 people have already asked that question.

She's doing fine with benefits it seems, enough to save plenty and work part time and study to be a lawyer?

Its still not great. I get 1500 which isnt a lot

Tinahowls · 26/07/2026 11:43

You have literally said that your anxiety is spiralling as a result of this thread.

You are the sole carer for multiple young children

don’t do what you’ve done in the past, and even though something is a bad idea, carry on doing it regardless.

Stop posting 🤷‍♀️

Yes, but I'm terrified of water so it's very anxiety inducing 😂

Clearly people are though. Have you seen the amount of posts?

why are you so unkind? If you don’t like it - go away.

Oh op having read the thread i feel your trying your best with 7 children working and trying to get a better education as well as breast feeding! This cannot be easy.
People seem to get high and mighty when it comes to uc and other benefits when in reality nobody actually knows when they might fall on hard times.
Benefits have been around for sometime and even as a child myself there was milk tokens, child benefit and child tax credits.
Im a mother of 5 children 12,10,7,6 and 11months luckily ive a DH and im a SAHM (another thing heavily judged on here) my children are also home educated! We dont claim any benefit but also understand if my partner lost his job that one day that could well be us!(I cannot expose his line of work due to his contact )
Op what i'd like to know is what is your favourite thing to do together all 8 of you?

Tinahowls · 26/07/2026 11:45

WorldCupSadness · 26/07/2026 11:44

I don’t have anxiety

You have anxiety. You literally say that this thread is making you spiral

but once again… you crack on with another bad decision

TaleOfTwoHalves · 26/07/2026 11:45

It is quite evident OP has some form of learning disability so I’m out 👋.

Justaquestionplease · 26/07/2026 11:46

Hi op...if you could live your life again, would you still make the same choices?

No hate to you..I couldn't do it, but having seven kids, whether happily married or single, would send me spiralling into a pit of depression. I can't even begin to imagine why anyone would do this in this day and age

Cailin66 · 26/07/2026 11:46

WorldCupSadness · 26/07/2026 11:43

Yes, but I'm terrified of water so it's very anxiety inducing 😂

I hate sand 😂 but one of my earliest memories is off wonderful egg sandwiches with sand in them. A day trip to the beach in Youghal (Ireland) we’d be left off to do our own thing by our mother for the entire day. No seatbelts then, all crowded into the back of the car…

superspideysense · 26/07/2026 11:46

Hope you’re OK OP.

just adding a post to help fill it up. Not sure why MN aren’t taking it down.

i know you feel you need to defend yourself - but it’s also ok to walk away.

No one being allowed an opinion other than being fawning and fully corroborative is quite manipulative. Commend and applaud or be derided as being mean. No one wishes OP or her family ill will. It’s not personal but points about current drain on taxpayers who work harder and struggle more is a fair point which OP and the hangers on, have frequently avoided responding to.

No, diverse opinions are allowed! But when OP states that responses are making her feel anxious, we have gone to another level.

I wouldn’t say the majority of responses have been fawning.

I would say this thread has given us some insight into the lives of others.

I am a high net contributor. I am not going to get to het up about OP. We are all victims of the cost of living crisis, high taxation, failing public services, inequality and it goes on and on.

You opinion is valid and contributes to the discussion. As do the opinions of those that you label “fawning” and “the hangers ons”.
The wonders of freedom of speech!

Then it is likely she will have more sadly.

If I can do it, then I will. I've had to shelve it for a little while as you know, I've just given birth...

I think you've literally come on here to be goady. "I want to save the world and work and look after my kids....... But, I've just given birth.... So not just yet. Then I may have another one to replace the now 18 year old" .... And so on...

Genuinely what’s your solution then? Childhood live in poverty to punish their mothers? That we don’t have a net to help people who need it? People are quite focused on her income not realising the Dads can stop paying the CMS on a whim, the OP is working & is aiming for a career. What more do you demand of her?
