I wouldn’t flaunt what I have. We don’t have any money worries. Private flying etc. but I work still. I wanted my children to grow up with a good work ethic. i earn pennies in comparison but I want my children to know what life is like.

I want them to know that what you do has value! I adore my little job and life.

I most certainly would not class you as rich op.. sorry. Dh earns considerably north of that but we are certainly in no way rich. We do have a few friends though who are seriously wealthy. You wouldn’t get any of them bragging on a forum though😂 They may be successful but they are the most unassuming of people.

I've read your posts OP and I wish I were you though I certainly would have a lady who does a couple of times a week. My question is, do you do your own laundry (bedding and clothes) or take it to a professional launderers?

I feel sorry for the OP. I was interested in her life. Shame the whole thread got derailed by people claiming she is actually poor, can only talk about housework, lives with a controlling husband, and that they are richer than her. Talk about projection.

There are married couples who bring in about £30k between them and pay rent/ mortgage but, apparently, should think £600k is akin to being as poor as a dormouse.

How the other half live their miserable lives which seem to be scoring points on an Internet forum.

So typically MN for this AMA thread to be almost full, not because of the AMA, but because of jealous angry mumsnetters arguing about if the OP is rich enough to call herself rich 🙄

It’s not the ones who think she’s not rich who are jealous is it.

I don’t think she’s genuine anyway that’s why she left - she certainly hasn’t a scoobies about property development.
