I don’t believe in abortion and I’ve always wanted kids so I wouldn’t have been able to go through with giving my child up.

It’s not something we are considering right now as it’s too expensive and doesn’t really make a difference to the relationship/our parenting but maybe when we’re old if we end up buying a house ect. 🤷‍♀️

How did you end up pregnant? We're you both careless or was it a contraceptive failure?

Was he at all suspicious that you got pregnant so quickly?

I fell pregnant after 3 months aged 22 years old.

my son is now 19 :)

split up with his dad when he was 18 months old but co parented ok for the most of it (I did the majority).

Do you believe it's luck that has kept you in a happy relationship?

This happened to me, well it wasn't a relationship, it was a bloody one night stand with a person I knew and it was one time and I had newly begun taking the pill.

I got rid of the baby and I feel bad about it every day, but I still know it was the right decision.

I was told by a doctor when I was a teenager that I wouldn’t be able to get pregnant without medical help as I had/have PCOS. I was struggling with my mental health when I was on the pill so I stopped taking it and with what I’d been told figured I didn’t really need it - my boyfriend knew all of this.
It was a big shock for him and he didn’t have the most positive response. I did briefly look at abortion and adoption articles but I knew that I wouldn’t be able to do it.

We rented our first house together when I was about 3 months pregnant 🤔

What do you do about housing and money?

Is this an unusual thing to happen?

I believe everything happens for a reason and having a child is the best thing that has ever happened to me so no, I don’t regret it. I guess I’ll never know if we would have stayed together if I didn’t get pregnant and have a baby but that’s the life we’re living and I’m happy with it :)

I don't have a question but just wanted to give you a little wave as I was in the same position! We are now married with a 5yo and a second on the way, so all worked out well for us :)
