I guess I’ll never know if we would be together if it wasn’t for our child but it’s all working out at the moment so that’s all that matters really :)

Marriage is not something we are considering right now as it’s too expensive and doesn’t really make a difference to the relationship/our parenting but maybe when we’re old if we end up buying a house etc

Getting married really doesn't have to be expensive. Registry office job, party later, all done. It gives you legal protection should your relationship fail. You are very vulnerable as you are.
