I don't understand why some people are getting bent out of shape about the OP skipping lunch?

Lunch is not mandatory, I skip it quite often because I'm just not hungry and I might decide to have a chocolate bar instead, just because I fancy one with my midday cup of tea.

I dont understand why people are getting uptight about pre packaged food either

When cooking for one its a complete bloody ball ache to be trying to put things together without having the same meal over and over, without the fridge and freezer becoming stuffed to the gills with the meal prep (thats without any actual ingredients in them) simply to avoid packaged food

Meals for one can be bought cheaply, stored easily, no need to calculate or weigh or measure all the nutritional info is there on the pack.

Say I wanted a beef sandwich for example ( I believe the OP mentioned one of these), neither my OH or me eat bread usually, so I would have to buy a loaf of bread. we dont cook up joints of meat or usualy have beef slices in, so Id have to buy a pack in. That then forces me to use up bread which I dont really want, to eat the rest of the packet of beef slices and so on

Its not really convenient for me personally. Ive been meal prepping tonight, Im not going to get through half of what Ive got because its difficult to do for one person.

Yes you are absolutely correct. On this diet - the 15 stone to seven and a half diet it was absolutely that - 1330 cals a day- in the last half - so from 12 stone down to 7.5. Before that my daily cal intake was higher..

However I did also say if I did a diet in future I'd probably do 800-1200 for a quicker weight loss. Unpopular opinion maybe.
