What’s the latest version of fast pass?
Is it an absolute fortune?

HowdyDudey · 17/09/2022 11:27

From a workers or visitors perspective?

ColinRobinsonsfamiliar · 17/09/2022 11:27

How do you make the fucking queues bearable???
(genuine question btw)

DisneyDisneyDisney · 17/09/2022 11:37

We visit 3 times a year - Christmas, Easter and the Summer.
The Disney app is very useful as it gives all the times. Sometimes we queue for rides when the parade is on. We spend 2/3 days at each park and have never queued for longer than an hour.

We have never used Genie + as we don’t think it’s worth it but we know families who do, especially if they have limited time

It is the most magical place and our family (me, husband, ds15 and dd17) find it incredibly relaxing (yes, really) and fun. Every time we visit there are different rides to go on, different shows to see. We take it easy so dip in and out over 2 weeks.

Are you a “Disney Travel Planner”?

jacostajune · 17/09/2022 11:46

How much do you spend on holidays a year?!

No, but have thought about it! I give a lot of advice to friends travelling.

i spend a lot of time researching flights and we always go via somewhere in America to keep costs down. We stay in a villa and buy park tickets in advance- 14 days for the price of 7.

What is the best time to go - considering heat, weather and crowds?

We have only ever been December, January, March, April and August. Christmas is amazing but very busy. However, Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom and New Year’s Eve at Epcot is incredible. Weather is hot during the day and sometimes you need a jumper in the evening. Easter is very busy and hot during day and night. Summer is hot during the day but it usually rains in the afternoon.

WelshNerd · 17/09/2022 12:10

How much do you spend annually on going?

Hadn’t really thought- we spend about £6000 each time for the 4 of us but it will be less when we don’t need to go in the school holidays.

There is no DisneyWorld Paris 🙄

WelshNerd · 17/09/2022 12:25

Do you go on other holidays or solely Disney?

What's your favourite ride?

How does the experience now compare to how things were pre covid?

TwinkleChristmas · 17/09/2022 12:26

Paris or Orlando?

Paris is called disneyland, not Disneyworld.

I’ve been in April , May, June, July and October. October was definitely best for both crowds and weather. Beautifully warm . Only downer is when you come home to the damp ☹️

We always go to other places. This summer we combined it with Costa Rica and last year with The Bahamas. We visit many places in the States. Half terms are either at home or Europe.
