I was on last Thursday's episode and happy to answer any questions! I've name changed so I can talk openly about it :-)

But anything you've ever wanted to know about Dragons' Den, ask away and I shall try my best.

How long was your pitch in total and also, do they feed you / give you drinks 😂 or just give you that standard jug of water.

How much of the pitch etc is edited out compared with what we see on TV?
Which pitch were you?
Did you get to 'mingle' at all with the dragons afterwards?
Did you go on to get money or the TV exposure?

What was it that made you decide that increasing capital by way of outside investment was what your company needed to expand, and how much in the way of % were you prepared to sign away?

@Belfastbird I am the Toddle lady! Thanks so much, that's very kind. The Dragons were all lovely, honestly really kind. They are assertive, but Peter Jones was a real surprise. He's a real gent.

@MichelleScarn thanks so much! I can't believe how well it went and how kind everyone has been.

@Vodka1 My pitch was 2.5 hours, they really go into everything! I got fed lunch beforehand and any drinks I wanted, they were very generous! Yes I go the investment, the deal went through! I'm this one...fb.watch/bEyVVUU9h2/ hopefully that's worked!

I was in there 2 1/2 hours! I don't envy the person that has to edit it.

I went there to get a Dragon, the money has been great though and the exposure amazing! But I really wanted the expertise.
Yes my deal went through.

@LizzieMacQueen I didn't get to meet Evan, which is a shame! That may have been due to covid, they really tried to limit people in the studio.

I have been through an investment round before, so I had a fair idea of the benefits of external investors, and a fair idea what it was worth and what an investor would be willing to part with! So I based my valuation and negotiation on that.

I just watched this clip you posted and when Deborah said 15% and the other lady spoke I immediately thought she’s going to say 12% and she did! 🤣

I have a question, (I haven’t watched dragons den for years) do you get business advice from them? Is that one of the reasons people go on there? For their expertise?

Bit random but loved your jumpsuit where is it from, well done though it must have been quite terrifying. The dribble proof lip balm could also assist elderly people, my uncle had a stroke and used to dribble and lots of balms didn’t help.

Wow, that's insane!! So very different from what you see on TV. So all of that was to 'The Dragons', it's all filmed and then they just edit it down to a few minutes? Do you get to 're-take' if you start fluffing up through nerves or whatever?
