I'm two weeks post op and back home. Very pleased with the results so far, though have another 6 weeks of wearing a compression garment.

I have a friend who went to Belgium for their tummy tuck and that's where my research started. I chose Prague based on reviews, price and availability. I've recently taken voluntary redundancy so the timing was right to get it done.

I made initial contact and sent pictures for review by a surgeon. Recommendation came back and I was able to book in for 3 weeks later.

On the day of my op I went in and met the surgeon, went for health tests in the next room, was shown to my bed and a few hours later I was under the knife! The op lasted just over two hours and other than feeling groggy and a bit sore, I felt pretty good.

You're encouraged to get up and go to the loo as soon as you can, and whilst I was a little worried that I'd stand up and keel over, I was fine. Ok, I had to carry the drains from my lipo with me, but that was ok!

I was at the clinic for two nights and then moved to a hotel for the recommended 2-3 night stay before flying.

On those 3 days I was walking between 3-5 miles a day. Probably not for everyone but I was up and about and didn't want to be stuck in a hotel room.

I was given take away medication, bandages, gauze etc. They also have 24/7 follow up care via the phone if you need it.

Today I found I've dropped a dress size, even whilst still swollen and wearing compression.

Would you share some before and after pics please. I am in the process of using that clinc for the same procedure. Would be great to get some perspective.

How many lbs of fat did they take from both hips ?

Can we see pictures ? Before and after.

What happens if you suffer a serious complication during the surgery eg needing ITU care? Do you have special insurance to cover that and how much does the insurance cost?
