im well aware that drugs are common and that all sorts of people do take them. Im an ex-addict.

Im saying that in order to come off long term you also need to adjust your social life. You need to change your whole life. Popping out a baby and feeling maternal for a while, but still going out to the same places and seeing the same people who offer you coke every 5 minutes is not a plan to stay clean.

@Branleuse yes I agree you need to completely disassociate yourself from the people that you used to do it with.

I must live a very sheltered life then having never been offered drugs. Certainly, as a mum, I'm more likely to be in a soft play area than a nightclub. Maybe OP you need to avoid these places (clubs, not soft play areas- although they can be a bit grim too) to protect yourself from temptation as the mum of a baby who is only recently drug free.
