I hope these threads aren't tired now - I've had a lot of insight reading them!
I'm a part time Dominatrix. I've been very active in the kink/fetish community for about 2 years, and started working professionally about 6 months ago. I love it.
NC as this is outing and I have a day job. Long time lurker, sometimes poster. Ask away!
LaGattaNera · 06/07/2018 15:31
oh I wondered if you were the lady I saw on First Dates last week, she was a dominatrix and looking for love luckily the chap she met had no issue with it - previous chaps apparently had but I think she did it as her only/main job - she made me laugh when she said she got all her housework done by her clients
DilianaDilemma · 06/07/2018 15:32
How many of your clients are corporate executive types?
I work in this kind of environment and I can't help the impression that some of our very high flyers are just the type ...
Dommina · 06/07/2018 15:36
I'm not the lady from First Dates! Although that was a good episode
*Dilemma - Corporate business types are my main clientele, but then I am based in the City, so I suppose that makes sense. In my 'friendly' fetish circle, who don't pay for me, it really is a huge mix of people. All ages, shapes, and wealths.
Dommina · 06/07/2018 15:37
I get a lot of my housework done by clients and voluntary subs. It's a great way to live :)
tectonicplates · 06/07/2018 15:46
Does it change the way you look at people in the street? As in wondering which people might be interested in that sort of stuff? Do you have "radar" like some gay people have a gaydar?
Dommina · 06/07/2018 16:53
tectonic It's kind of helped me stop putting people in boxes actually.
With the kink sphere there is honestly such a huge variety of people. You just never know. Once I know someone is generally kinky I might be able to tell you what they're in to, but again based on stereotypes.
Looking at and speaking to me, you would never guess. I'm a short, blonde, curvy and generally very passive person. I don't wear heels. I don't wear much make up. People are often very suprised to hear it... Then they see me kicking some guy in the goolies and making him eat from a dog bowl :D

What’s the most common thing asked for ?
Do you ever get out of character ?
Dommina · 06/07/2018 18:43
Justanother
That's a very broad question. In most cases paid clients will decide what's happening, although my personal favourites are sissification (kind of a very girly version of 'forced' transvestitism) and human furniture. There is a huge range from impact play, pegging, and sadistic interrogation, through to much calmer services like them giving me a massage.
To answer Lemain's first question, a 'standard' session for me might be foot worship, (there are a LOT of foot fetishists out there), a bit of flogging, and degradation. Not counting the negotiation and debrief of course.
I try to avoid getting out of character, but it happens. One time a peg flew off of some unmentionables in to his eye. I burst out laughing. Thankfully he was a regular. And once or twice when the client was being unreasonable. I do everything fully clothed and he was moaning about that, so I showed him the door.
letsgomaths · 06/07/2018 18:45
Do many clients like to be blindfolded? If so, what do you then do with them?
stegosauruslady · 06/07/2018 18:45
How did you start yourself up? Equipment etc looks like it would be expensive!
And do you mind me asking roughly how much you earn?
Dommina · 06/07/2018 18:46
See my last response TeeBee. It can be very funny and very rarely a turn on with paid clients, but so far has managed to maintain composure. I just laugh about it with my kinky friends afterwards. Ill sometimes have a giggle with the client after. I always have at least a 10 minute debrief.
Dommina · 06/07/2018 18:53
Letsgomaths blindfolded is popular, and I prefer it. I always command no eye contact as sometimes it can break the scene if I'm gurning while fiddling with some rope
I pretty much carry on as usual, but will play more with sound (snap a whip by their ear etc) as it adds a bit of fear.
stego it's bloody expensive! A good flogger will set you back £80 and let's not get started on the clothing! Luckily I had amassed a decent personal collection in two years, just a bit at a time. I also have domme friends and will borrow equipment sometimes, as long as its been sterilised.
I earn around £250 a session, usually 1-2 sessions a week. It's £250 for one hour, £400 for 2. I make a little more selling tights, pictures and through my amazon gift page. (tributes). I wouldn't at this stage rely on it for income - there's a lot of expenditure, but I have a day job, so it's a fantastic bonus. Any big extras go in to savings.
loveka · 06/07/2018 18:57
So, at what stage do they have an orgasm? I have always wondered.
TheDailyMailisToiletPaper · 06/07/2018 18:57
This might sound like a really stupid question, so forgive my ignorance because I am exactly that - totally ignorant about this subject.
Do your clients orgasm? Like, is it a sex thing, or do you just treat them a bit mean and then when the time's up they say okay then, thank you very much and put their clothes back on?
How do you 'wrap up' a session? Do you have to time it to a 'crescendo' so that you don't have to stop in the middle of something?
Sorry that's loads of questions. I'm just fascinated.
