The only slight issue that Liz came across while testing involved the stopper underneath the bike.
She said: “The stopper on the other end of the seat does tread on uneven surfaces.
“This won't be an issue when Nuala is able to have the seat slightly higher, however it does get in the way of her seamlessly using the bike on uneven payment slabs and other areas of uneven pavement, caused by tree roots, for example.”
As for the helmet, both mum and daughter love the funky design. Liz said: “It's a perfect fit from the measurement I provided and she loves the design. Nuala even received a compliment about it from a complete stranger! I now only use this one rather than her hand me down from her sister.”

Is the Micro Balance Bike 2in1 with Stabilisers good value for money?
Priced at £100 on Amazon at the time of writing (September 3rd, 2024), the Micro Balance Bike is reasonably priced and cheaper than other Mumsnet favourites the Frog Bikes Tadpole, Trybike and Hornit AIRO, none of which come with stabilisers as a feature.
Liz added: “I feel the Micro Balance Bike represents good value for money. It is of high-quality design and finish and Nuala will get a lot of use out of it until she is able to move to a full bike.”
